it is possible. but ver yvery difficult, you have to prety much reprogram the whole phone, youd have to add the prl, esn, and meid which is very illegal, but possible, so it can be done, but noone has released proof theve done it. the hardware is in the phone, its just whether we make use of it or not

this is only using a registered and unlocked 3g iphone and a simcard reader, which just lets the phone read the card.

But, if the phone was not activated and unlocked in at&t this card would not work-

notice how he took an unlocked iphone out of the already opened box.

someone told me that you don't need to jailbreak it. the only thing you can't do if you use the adapter is you can't sync it to itunes. Unless if you have it jailbroken and use the adapter then you can sync it. Otherwise you can use it without jailbreaking it.
