What a versatile and talented man. He along with Barry Mason wrote 2 of my all time favorite songs, Engelbert's "Les Bicyclettes De Belsize" and Tom's "Delilah". They also wrote Leapy Lee's "Here Comes The Rain" another of my favorites. Les Reed is a true legend!

Joe Brown played lead guitar on " Made you" and " I did what you told me" from the Beat Girl album. Way before " A picture of you" useless information I know but it's nice to get it right.

I was at The Adam Faith Show at The Esseldo Cinema Burnt oak April 1960 with the John Barry 7 The show was stopped Don Arrol came on stage to announce that Les Reeds wife had just had a baby! That must have been Donna, How about that!

Why would you say that?

I love Mr. Reed's work as both a writer and musical director/producer. I think his incredible body of work speaks for itself.

This interview is fantastic, though no mention of the great film score work of Mr Reed. I hope Creepshow 2 particularly gets a release very soon.
