  • Love to travel on the E195. They are more quiet and soft then the 737 and A320/319.

  • Excelente Video, ainda mais que o EMBRAER 190 É FABRICADO NO BRASIL.

  • embraer are actually very solid built airplanes and the interior is very quiet. I remember noticing just how smooth they seem on takeoff compared to the 737 which you always notice the window panels rattle on takeoff.

  • I'we always liked that whistling noise when the engines start to rev up.

  • I love that engine sound

  • Thank You.

  • Is Embraer from Brazil?

  • @globulus1 yep

  • @globulus1

    Yes...

  • Made In Brazil

  • 2 PPL are scared of flying

  • @nikia320 did you know that PPL's are private pilots :D, next time just say people... Peace off

  • @raphy1123

anyway. you knew what was my point... :)

and ppl means people and Private Pilot LICENCE (not private pilots). So i don't understand why you're saying that to me.

    regards :)

  • @nikia320 lol just found it funny... Haha, and you're right PPL is private pilots license... pretty nice channel too, do you fly on IVAO ?

  • @raphy1123

    thanks :)

I don't have an account on IVAO or VATSIM :) that's because of my PC (it is to bad to handle fs9/x + multiplayer traffic with playable FPS)

but I heard a lot of good things about them

so as soon as I'll get a better PC, I will register on one of those 2 services :D

  • @nikia320 yea it's great to adopt the correct phraseology I use IVAO as a preparation for my first solo flight (3 flights from now)... I'm getting there lol can't wait !

  • WIEJĄ SANDAŁY....!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Yeah,brazilian airplane :D

  • did you like this embraer 190 ?

  • @CMDMateus Yea its a nice plane. Its not too small, and theirs only four seats per row, one on each side. The only bad part is that, if your in the front of the plane and want to look back at the wing, the window is in a bad spot, and its annoying to lean forward to look out

  • @N605JB It's a very nice piece of technology! I think they should build a bigger normal or wide body aircraft (in stead of narrow body like they have now).

  • The sound is the engines. All General Electric engines has that sound!

  • LOL The clouds magicly appear at 2:51

  • Sorry for the typo! should be ERJ-190 ~ :)

  • Nice work. Love JFK (my hometown airport) and the Jetblue EWRJ-190! Thanks!

  • Embraer, the Brazilian people's talent. Hugs, Maringá-Paraná-Brazil.

  • I just flew the embraer fro JFK to New Orleans... I did not care for it. I sat in row 11 which is awful, the seats dont recline!

  • @lcdrama Row 11 is right in front of an emergency exit row. If you flew Jetblue, they warn you about this when you purchase your tickets and pick your seats.

  • i was on one of those from chicago to lga. really its a turbulence magnet, its a small plane so it does pick up ALOT of turbulence

  • danm what nise on 1:15? i think is break

  • i was on a flight to kingston from jfk and this plane was next to ours. "Blue Bonnet"

  • y were u zooming in the takeoff

  • Thats not the pope´s plane . There´s no swastica painted on any plane on vid.

  • what's that noise on 1:15? i hear that so many times when i fly sometimes on TAP airbus!!! it sounds like the wings are going to break or something :s can someone tell me what it is so i can feel a lilttle more confident when i fly, please :P

  • @Holypt23 i think it was the camera rattling against the window, nothing to worry about. the planes are extremely safe most of the times planes crash its due to pilot error. and airliners almost never crash

  • @N605JB Haven't been in JFK in ages, this beautiful video shows the old TWA terminal, did Jet Blue take over that terminal (5), or what's the latest scoop on it, thanks .

  • @Holypt23 its because the wheels are separating from the ground which makes the plane shake

  • @Holypt23 The noise you are hearing is from the nose wheels continuing to spin as the aircraft lifts off the ground. It creates the noise and a mild vibration. I fly corporate jets and we get the same noise every takeoff...completely normal. No worries mate.

    -Av8rcaptain ATP, A&P mechanic

  • @Holypt23 it sounds like the ceamra lense focsuing

  • @Holypt23 The thud I believe is the landing gear struts extending as the weight comes off the landing gear. It's more pronounced the closer you are to the main gear.

  • @Holypt23 the noise was just the plane going fast on the runway so the wings did get a little violent, but nothing to worry about

  • @Holypt23 It's the landing gear decompressing as the plane lifts off. The vibration is from the wheelbrakes, as they need to be stopped before they are fully retracted.

  • @Holypt23 That noise is the landing gear decompressing as the plane lifts off.

  • @Holypt23 If your hearing it then it could be just the luggage area shaking at the airframe of the airplane is now supporting its own weight as you can take the luggae bays that you put your cabin bagss out I think thats probably why you can hear it.

  • @Holypt23 Could be the wheels, when they lift off, they can have a "resonance" until they lower their RPM and rollout, or when they are braked. Nothing to worry about :-)

  • That noise is nothing else but the sound of the main wheels that continue spining around after the airplane lifts off or starts to fly. Nothing to worry about. This wheels are designed to spin at a maximum speed of 195 kts or roughly 360 kph. All takeoff performance calculations are made; based on the fact that the airplane will not exceed this value. I am Embraer 190 pilot in real life and it is a very efficient, safe and technological airplane.

  • @Holypt23 Don't worry, that one trip to the airport is way more dangerous than all of the flying you are going to do in your whole life...

  • @Holypt23 What you often hear on the Airbus is the PTU. The PTU (without going into details) maintains the hydraulic pressure at a safe value, and the sound you hear on take-off is the PTU leveling the pressure while the landing gear is coming. But you won't hear it on the EMB-190 because it doesn't have the same system. What you heard in this video is the sound wave created by the engines which were emitting a slightly different sound frequency.

  • i love those embraer 190. great airplanes!

  • which are companies that use Brazilian aircraft there?

here in Brazil, many companies use aircraft produced here, for example Passsaredo Airlines, Trip Airlines, Blue Airlines, and more.

  • The E-Jets are nice little jets! Nice video! :)

  • awesome video! I fly Jet Blue out of JFK all the time... I will try this with my flip video!

  • Where were you heading too?

  • Orlando Intl.

  • i really like engine sounds and this one of my favorites. i also like "dc 10 take off music to my ears"

  • that pope's plane looks more like an Air China 744

  • that was the one parked behind the alitalia 777

  • I love EMBRAER, I think they offer the best airplanes.

However, I was wondering how come someone was so irresponsible to utilize an eletronic device during a takeoff, the video was nice, but usually it's recommened not to use any devide till certain altitude, maybe untill the auto-pilot is on.

  • So you get to watch but complain how your not supposed to have the device on?

Its perfectly fine. Tons of people do it, and I don't think there has been any incidents because of cameras

  • @halo2windows

I did it yesterday...nothing happened to us...seen tons of people do that...

  • you are right, you don't think there has been incidents.....

If you were 100% sure, then it'd be a different story, right?

I have indeed heard that some devices don't interfere with the airplane's system, maybe it's better to prevent than regret, isn't it?

  • @duduvissotto video cameras dont interfere with aircraft systems, but devices such as phones can interfere with radio communications, and have a similar effect when you put your phone next to a computer speaker

  • @N605JB

    ok, thanks

  • @N605JB

    ok, thanks

  • @N605JB I'm glad to learn that.... You have just answered some concerns raised by some people who just keep saying for somehow, filming inside a plane "might bring it down"

  • @duduvissotto How can a video camera interfere with anything on the plane. It's not a transmitter of EM radiation and even it was it would most likely be in a frequency range that would not affect the planes instruments. Though a video camera does generate a small EM field like any electrical circuit does. Even phones don't pose much of a threat, the only instrument I can conceive that it might affect is the weather radar as they both work in a similar frequency range.

  • haha.. I flew on "Blue Bonnet" sometime last year on the short rout from Boston to JFK

  • i like the 190 more than the b737. looks better and more efficient

  • The last time I got in a plane the pilot was singing "if you happy and you know it" when taking off. That was fun.

  • I agree sweet sounding engine and quick off the ground.

  • OH MY GOD THAT ENGINE SOUNDS SO AMAZING JUST A PERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!! just like a cessna haha :)

  • I think this airplane will be the next MD80 of te skyes..

  • I am well aware of all that info....I have been a commercial airliner freak since my first ride in a 727-100 back in 1971 when I was a kid. I am nevertheless impressed with the detail that went into the 190. Very quiet, even newer tech engines, and everyone can appreciate a 2X2 layout in a nice sized cabin. Air Canada has nice seats in every jet I have flown with them, not just the 190. As someone who has to fly domestic (US) many times a year, I really appreciate good seats.

  • This is a hell of a nice airplane. Road on three this last week while in Canada. Quieter and more leg room than A-319. That is really all the more engine noise you hear at take off. Air Canada also has nice, comfortable seats and entertainment systems.

  • Keep in mind, AC purchased its Embraer fleet quite recently. The 320 fleet has been around longer.

I agree it is a nicer plane than the A320 family- but one has to consider that you're on a plane 2 years out of factory vs 15ish(?)

Also leg room and layouts are at the discretion of the carrier and don't reflect the actual aircraft designer per say.

  • Was this recorded with stereo microphones? It sounds like it.

  • They are nice planes, better than the CRJ or turboprops

  • i wish i could fly now

  • oooohhoooohhohhhh!!! I get to ride on one of these!!! im really excited!!

  • Hey dick shit go f yourself

  • Made in Brazil !

  • the one after the eagle the 737

  • the american airlines 737

  • there is no American Airlines 737... Do you mean the American Eagle ERJ-145?

  • omg im in the second plane you see i was there omg

  • What a nice jet.. I would rather fly these than any boeing or airbus model.. Also easy on easy off with no crowd at the baggage claim......

  • @Brasil1966

    ignorant , no ignorent

    funny!

  • I love E-190s!

  • I am terrified of flying, but I do (fly) for my husband and my children. And when I booked tickets for our trip to Disney (on JetBlue) last November, I realized I'd be flying this airplane. It seemed really small, so I freaked out and almost paid more money to change reservations and fly an airbus (which I've e flown before). But I started watching these vids and I swear it was like therapy. Especially this one, which is the same route out of JFK. So thanks for posting! :-]

  • I was on recently and thought it was small initially but it's actually very comfortable! JB's E190 holds 100 people so it's really not "small" when you think about it. It's just long.

  • Are the engines CFM?

  • GE CF-34

  • I like the angle of the wing!

  • Awesome video. Amazing sound, and wonderful plane. EMBRAER regional jets take rules!!!

  • Awesome video and sound quality. So what was the flight like, better or worse than the A320?

  • thanks, the flight was perfect, like all of my other jetblue flights. you could tell how new the plane was. The only thing i dont like about the e190 is how far apart the windows are. other than that id probably take it over the 320.

  • Why do they let you record?

  • what do you mean about that because im flying on jetblue e 190 aus fll

  • good video that..

  • Graet Vid! Excellent Quality!

  • what kind of plane is the popes??

  • the pope was in an alitalia 777

  • lol duh. i should have known that lol! (italy- alitalia- the vatican) ha.

  • what color was the plane

  • it was just a regular alitalia plane

  • ns video i love the embraer 190 engine sound

  • Nice Video. Congratulations. I see the Old terminal 5 from TWA, and now from JetBlue for 2008. congratulations again.

  • Very nice video, what kind of camera are you using?

  • thanks, a panasonic sdr-h18

  • were u connecting in JFK or was that your departure airport?

  • that was my departure airport. thats one of the good things about living on long island- a jetblue base

  • gr8 sound and video what is jetblue like? I heard they are meant to be brilliant.

  • jetblue is the best. they have a ton of legroom, free snacks, and TVs. Even if the tv's dont work, they give you $15. Jetblue is by far my favorite airline, but delta is getting alot better.

  • That is gr8 to hear as I am flying with them to Cancun in July. I hear almost all the USA carriers are not meant to be that good. It is good to hear that Delta are on the up and I hope the same can be said about AA.

  • aa is okay, but i think jetblue is better than their domestic first class

  • Have u ever tried American Airlines?

  • I've flown them once in coach in an md-80 and once in first on an a300 and a 757. Coach was not that great, but there first class was good. Except on the 757, the tv was spazzing in the middle of the lake house, so I had nothing to do for 4 hours

  • wot jetblue aircraft do u prefer? e190 or

    A320?

  • Ive only been on the 190 once, and i love how small it is. the only bad thing, was that the windows are spaced out, so you have to lean forward to look out. other than that its a great plane. the a320 has a ton of legroom, so its probably my favorite. im going to fly on one on july 26 and put up more videos

  • Wait a minute! Are you saying that A320 has more legroom then E190 at jetblue? I dont know about jetblue but in Finnair E190 and E170 has much more legroom then A320 family...

  • that's different by every airline

  • Yeah, you are right

  • Good stuff!
