@r34p3rex I am unable to download the kernel through xda developer, for some reason it says I have to be a developer, can you email to me or have a different link for downloading? I would really appreciate it. I no longer have sound.

hey r34p3rex - i too am having trouble with the sound working. I found a post to addictivetips com that was posted a day after this video. This post has me flash a Inspire 4G Audio Fix zip file then use the Prop Editor app. But in this video (and the one in the post - both the same) I didn't see any of that. If you could clarify I would appreciate it. Which process should I do 1st? Thanks again for all you work, I am impressed!!

Great Videos. I have a few questions.

1) Will the Desire HD rom that you put on enable HSUPA uploading (3g uploading, since at&t locked it out)?

2) Is there a way to recover your phone so it is not rooted anymore in case it needs to be fixed? If so, a tutorial would be awesome.

3) Does this ROM allow Mobile access point without at&t's special data plan?

After I installed this ROM the video on Youtube videos dont work fully. The sound will play, but no video. I hit the "back" button and the sound will still be be playing but no video, and there is no way to stop it short from rebooting the phone. Any suggestions? I am running 2.0.13

i usually get h+ connection but now i only get h????is there a difference?

@irkar90 The DesireHD ROMs only show H, they don't have an icon for H+. But there isn't a difference

Alright, so I have an issue with the sound. After following the steps you provided, still no sound? When I get back into bootloader mode the radio version number shown on your screen (at 1:48 ) is lower than the one shown on mine, so the radio has obviously updated. What gives?

Until HTC releases the sourcecode for the Inspire Kernel, there will be no way to make a Gingerbread compatible ROM with working sound for the Inspire.

Im running into an issue when I try to view a video on youtube or try to play it from browser and its crashing it. Any ideas? I tried using the Android Revolution HD 2.0.12 not .13 because I was having audio issues with that rom, i have sound now, but the video is crashing.

@danztacoma Have you tried low quality video? I think there is a problem with HQ video playback when using a DesireHD ROM on the Inspire

@r34p3rex I looked at the youtube settings and I have it unchecked for showing HQ on mobile network. I tried another ROM but couldnt get the data network to come up on it -inspired-dhd-afr002-signed. Ill try putting 2.0.13 back on the phone and see if I can get audio with it.

@danztacoma If you use AFR002, you need to manually add the AT&T APN for it to connect to the data service. AT&T's APN is wap.cingular

So I fgot my soudn working also but did anyone notice that after getting sound that you can no longer play back you recorded videos from the camcorder or you tube video pretty much any videos from the video player. However the flash on sites works. FYI update to the latest Android Revolution HD 2.0.13 from and the flash sites will run more smoother. •GPU+ patch (Improved 2D & 3D Graphics performance - Thanks to -snq)
