actually they do, small map glitches like that are "abusable" and accepted generally in tf2

I believe this is considered an exploit by all leagues.

So it is, noone use this in esea. As imbalanced as the last point is for defense on cp_freight I think this is a bad rule.

In general making rules like these which eliminate options and don't break the game are bad. Especially difficult to enforce rules where you could easily lose the match by accidentally violating these rules, Most competitive games thrive based on the emergent qualities of the gameplay which were not originally planned by the developers.

Usually yes, it's emergent gameplay. Many competitive games have numerous glitches which deepen the gameplay.

In StarCraft players glitch units through minerals.

In Tekken wavedashing started as a gltich,

In Street Fighter kara canceling is a now commonplace glitch.

In the Soul Calibur series many glitches such as 2G in SC2 vastly improved the depth of gameplay.
