Does anyone else have the problem of that damn magnet falling out of one of the shoulder buttons? My controller does that all the time and when I rented Knight into Dreams once and the controller it had the same problem, one of the shoulder buttons stopped working.
The controller is poorly designed inside the shoulder buttons, they are held in my friction or maybe double backed sticky pads. Sega should have sealed the magnets inside the buttons by sealing off the top with plastic
it came out with nights into dreams same time frame so i believe that was actually a month before the n64 came out but im not sure it was about the same time frame.
Hey cool review dude! I had this controller and I sold it which sucks now cuz i miss playing it. I bought another saturn and I wish I had it I might get one on ebay just for Nights :D Later.
i might have one i might not cos i got 2 saturns i didnt getr 1 with the second one i got but i got my first one off my mums friends son who is 20 or sumthin like that any way he is a major gamer so there is alot of chance i minght have one i have a huge wardobe and its i mess but thats were alot of games are lying around so if i have i look i might find one wish me luck cuz im not paying £30 for a new one off ebay
it has a switch that has the + function which switches it to the cross stick. that makes it compatible with all games... the "O" mode (analoge stick) is compatible with games that support it... such as nights, daytona USA, etc...
The Gamecube controller also has analogue shoulder buttons.
This guy's reviews are terrible but in a good way - I love them!

Why couldn't the Dreamcast controller be like that controller.
vh9online 1 year ago
@vh9online I asked the same question. They could atleast have used this d-pad on the dreamcast

they were not the first analog it was the neo geo cd controller
MasterOftheeUniverse 1 year ago
was that really analogue? I thought it was just an 8 direction joystick with out the stick.

Looks a whole lot like the new Nintendo IQue in China so even if they copied Nintendo ... I would argue Nintendo copied them back... lol

Wrong about the analog stick the first console that used a analog stick was the atari 5200
aznjohn15 2 years ago
Wrong again. The first console to use one was the Bally Astrocade
MushaGenesis 2 years ago
sorry but that was considered a joystick
MasterOftheeUniverse 1 year ago

when you think about it the 3d controller is more or less a prototype of the dreamcast controller, ironiclly i did'nt think about that untill now

The first analog controller was the Atari 5200 controller.

Just wondered, did Croc use this controller? It seems quite fitting.
Luigi356 2 years ago
most likely, only have the ps1 version....
using the d pad is a bitch on the game!
GameGlobeE 2 years ago
I've got the PC version, it works quite well because it feels natural.

Very good controller, except that the analog stick has an uncontrollable high frequency and wasn't compatible with many games. I own one myself.
