Everytime I wonder about a product seems almost always I can depend on you having done a review on it, I've really grown to trust your opinion! Really appreciate all the work you do here and love your videos! x
Thanks for the review, I have a question: I go back and forth on silicone primers, I don't really know if they help makeup to look fresh during the day or not, I never notice a difference really, BTW I have oily skin and sometime blemish prone. But I'm wondering how you really know if silicone breaks you out. I never really know. do you have any suggestions. Thank you!
@MrMscaliban yeah its like lisa says, the loreal one is thicker and more like putty! although some people see to think the clarins one is a bit polyfillerish. ive got it and for me its the only one i can see my 'number 11s' between my brows actually disappear before my eyes. the downside is that it can leave a little white residue if not blended fully. they now have instant smooth foundation and a self-tan product. one of the good cheaper fillers is the maybelline one which is clear gel
I LOVE THIS! I'm on my 3rd container, too bad it has not worked for others, we have to keep in mind that not everybody has the same skin types, I first tried a sample of it and went back and purchased it, loved it ever since!
I am 38 and got this primer last week.I try half of my face with it and nothing the other half, one day with liquid fundation, next day with mineral fundation. In both cases, asking several people, all agree the sidewith primer looks worst, the wrinkles around the eyes where showing more. for me doesn't work, shame as it was not cheap. My skin is normal to dry and the primer feel good and pores looked a little bit better, but make my wrinkles show more :(
That was a great review! I do the same but use Benefit Dr Feelgood over the rest of my face. But the Clarins is perfect in filling the lines around the mouth and eyes!
Well, I do the same thing! I use Clarins primer under my eyes and lips ( I'm 35 year old) and smashbox primer in others parts. I find this combination perfect fo my skin and fine lines (ehm.. wrinkles..) Clarins primer is amazing for smooth down the lines.
Thanks for this review Lisa! - Is there a good primer for oily/combo(sensitive) skin that is good for filling in fine lines? anything you'd recommend??
That is a hard one because most items that fill lines are not really good for combo skin. I use one primer oil control (Murad) on my face and then I use either Clarins Instant touch or Skin Fx by Cover Fx aruond my eyes for the fine lines- I hope this help you!
Hi Lisa! I love your channel, i got a question, please, please you make me so happy if you can answered, i was yesterday in the counter of Clarins in my local deparment store, and the Counter lady told me that the Clarins Instant Smooth, isn't meant for under eyes, it is for the rest of the face, but not recommended for the under eye area, so, i didn't buy it, i don't have fine lines, except in my under eye area near by the tear duct... isn't harmful for the eye area? i guess not, but...
@Lisasz09 - Do you have a review on Cover Fx Skin Fx? if you don't could you please can make one? Cause i really want to make a good purchase, i don't buy very expensive things very often, and i want to do the best investment i can.
You are very kind to take your time and answer all of us, thank you Lisa!!! xD!
Thank you! i've already but it and i have one week of use, and for under eyes, like Lisa said, it is beautiful, but for all my faces it does get oily, but i'll still, repurchase it does minimize my pores into my cheek area, and does fill my fine lines under my eyes, great! :D
no prep and prime doesnt fill in lines- I love it because it keeps my foundation on like glue! :o) I use this one around my eyes becausse it gets rid of fine lines! :o)
you know what ...that stuff did the same thing to me! i felt like my make up was running off my face! eww! :( but i havent tried the spot treatment like u say you use it..so i DEFINATELY might try that...can u elaborate on the prep & prime? the only thing with my skin is i used to have VERY BAD acne...so i have those pit scar things...can you recommend anything to fill those in atleast maybe a little bit? thank u so much for the video! :)
i love love love it for the spot treatment- amazing! :o) I do have a review on the MAC prep and prime with SPF 50! I dont know what can cover acne scaring- I have heard the CoverFX is great for that, but I have not used it! :o) Enjoy!
does the clarins primer have a perfume smell to it??? been using smashbox primer and it still settles in my lines under the eye.. please let me know when you fined that perfect concealer...i have done laser teatments and considering injections but scared to be honest...love your videos....and you always look amazing... :) whatver you are doing well its working...
I do not smell a scent with this product! I prefer this to any other product or botox (which I have tried for those lines also) Good Luck I hope it works for you! :o)
I enjoy this product and also feel it does fill in tiny lines and gives a nice finish. I have not tried the prep and prime yet but will this week...it is blue????
You got me to buy this at Sephora yesterday. I had a microdermabrasion yesterday so I looked like crud today but can't wait to use it tomorrow! It feels really great on my hand and seems like it will fill in the lines really well.
Can you please tell me how you use this WITH the Korres? Do you apply Korres and let it absorb and then apply the Clarins or vice versa? Thanks! I adore your reviews. You do such a wonderful job.
I will be buying this. I have dry skin and just started to notice fine lines under my eye. I am a contact lens wearer and hate that I have to pull my lids to put them on.
I've been wanting to try this for a while. A lot of Clarins products have heavy scents which I can't tolerate b/c my skin is so sensitive. Does this have a scent? My skin is normal to dry so this would probably be good for me so long as it's unscented. Great review, as always :)
I totally agree with your review! I usually use this around my nose and mouth, haven't tried it around my eye area - so thanks for the tip :) It is great during winter time!
oh. and one more thing - I don't know if you're wearing a self tanner here on your face but it's great - so if you do I like that self tanner the best :)))
Thank you for this review! I use the primer and I really don't seem to have a problem fith the oiliness, but I'll probably tyr that spf 50 primer too (I'm travelling in about 2 months so I will have an access to MAC stores in Austria yay:))))
Hmm.. I have this and havent really been sold on it. I havent noticed it helping with my fine lines.. maybe my lines arent as fine as I thought they were... LOL!!! I was using this all over tho. Im in desperate search of something that will minimize the pores on my nose and this didnt help fill those like i hoped.
If you have any recommendations for me that would be great! Im going to try clarins just around my eyes and lips instead of my whole face.

That's weird I have an oily/combination skin and this is the best primer I've tried so far.
Maybe it's because I don't have a very oily skin. I don't know, lots of my friend who have an oily skin love it too.
I guess it really depends on your specific skin.
Great review !
