In Music Theory we had to analyze a song, describe the meter, time signature, key, etc. I showed this to my teacher beforehand to see if it was too difficult, and after he took the headphones off, amazed, he was like "Man, if you want to pass this project, DON'T do this song." what I imagine when I listen to this is some sort of ancient society (for some reason I see them as orange, having an orange flag and armor) living on a plain next to a forrest, and its being attacked by the people in the forest.

and they start fighting back but they are lured into the forest and the green forest people attack in full force, which then goes into the song race out, when the somber greens leave the forest to finally pillage the plain people.

It's become a common phrase in American language to associate any band's name with the word the in it, similar to calling Tissue, Kleenex, hard to expect more of anyone who found a random link of this and just figured it's "the battles"

If you like some music, you should at least take the time to know that band's name. It's Battles, and they're awesome.

It was an analogy, meaning people pick up certain ways of saying certain things, such as associating kleenex and tissues and figuring the name of any band would start with "the". And considering how conflicting your statement can be due to the lack of tone i'm going to assume it was meant to be offensive, when i was only agreeing with you in saying that yes people should know the correct name of their favorite band, and not put "the" before everything.
