@tulliobestia Sorry I meant Nikko (just looked the body remain I still have). I used to power it wirh 5A 4s Lipos and it survived for a whole month :-). But yeah E-maxx is nice, in my view it's the best allround RC one can buy.

@tulliobestia hehe yeah 4s. It worked till the plastic motor mount melted by the heat from it. I've been looking at getting E-maxx a lot but the only thing that is stopping me is the crazy near double price they're asking for them here in AU. Like AU$1000 for brushless vs. US$650 while the Dollar is nearly the same.

Thx for the comment Yeah , if you are a basher the e-maxx is the correct choice for you ! it is very very fun , strong , powerful and offers to you a thousand configurations ( for bashing -jumping- onroad speed runs ecc.. )

Total ownage on the Nikko Truck!! I'm gonna either get my E-maxx ready for spring 2010 or get the newer E-maxx or Brushed E-Revo. Traxxas makes awesome R/C Vehicles these days. Keep on truckin'

Yeah...I was gonna get some summit wheels and tires but jetlag was sayin that they're better for slow speeds and I use my emaxx as an all-around rc.

sure , infact summit tires are better for crawling and technical operations , while e-maxx tires are perfect for everyday running . if you want sports tires you may buy pro line road rage !!! they are great

emaxx dominates! I have same truck+color. I love climbin shit all slow-like. It's got decent speed too. I can't find a single place where I can buy tires like twice as big, that's what I need!

sure , in stock configuration you should use ni-mh batteries , and they are 100% waterproof and they don t need maintenance ; )

yes but the revo chassis is much better then the e maxx i keep in braking shock towers and bulkheads i wish i would have spent the extra 100 for the brushed e revo

we , in questo video l auto e le batterie erano più o meno alla 4 scarica , quindi nuove , e avevo le 7 celle (8.4v).

va benone a 7 celle , con le 5100 sono riuscito a giocare quasi un ora alternando un pò di trial alla corsa.

i recommend 4 battery packs , 2 6 cells and 2 7 cells , if you are a beginner you sould try with a pair of 6 cells , but i recommend you to buy batteries from 4500 mah , and not less,.

here in italy a pair of 5100 team orion cost about 80 euros .

batteries don't come with it right. i might be getting it for Christmas, so i want to be ready. I have to 1800mah for starting my gas t-maxx, but i don't believe they are powerful enough. What batteries do you recomend? (not to expensive) thanks. james

nono you have to buy batteries separately,in this video i was running 7 cells,5100mah team orion,they are great,and their runtime is about 35-40 minsutes.i recommend 4 pairs of batteries,2 7 cells and 2 6 cells.

infact with 7 cells your e-maxx will run fast and it will be very funny,but you have to stop the car every10-15minutes to let it cool-down.

while with 6 cells you won t run 30 mph,but you ll have a lot of fun and you ll not have problems of overheating.
