How did you make him fight back? My Annoying Fan runs like a little bitch at the first sign of danger, despite having a decent weapon to defend himself with.

One time, we were in a cave and he freaking left me all by myself while like, 3 minotaur lords smacked me around with warhammers. While he was safe, I was desperately fighting for my life! When I got out, I took the Annoying Fan on a complementary "holiday" to Dive Rock.

Oh well, at least the Nord who camps at Aerin's Camp has some food.

@minedapie actually that i know of theres 2 ways to do that in oblivion,

the first one requires the shivering isles plug in, you find all the skulls of the ghosts on the hill of suicides and you get a greater power "Risen Flesh" where you can reanimate someone for a short period of time. the second one is when you complete the mages guild and you get the Staff of Worms, where you can again, reanimate for a short period of time
