Did I say overload the team with youngsters? No, but we've got an old team and we need new life in it. Yeah that team looks decent but we mainly need a stable manager in place for at least 3 years at first for proper development. Also Essien could still be in that team when he's 30, I don't rate Ramires as a holding midfielder.

@Deanocfc sorry but I just presumed that's what you were getting at, and tbh, Essien has really gone downhill, he looks so sluggish now and his energy has completely escaped him, and he is 29 this year, its possible that after a good summer break he will be back to his old self, but we shall have to wait and see.

Really, I don´t understand why do you say he is the greatest talent, I see he are really strong, and fast, but talent, I think talent means skill, skill with the ball, ball control, capacity to make impressive things with the ball, if he are only strong, maybe he is not so talented like you think, maybe I´m wrong about that but, you are overstimating him, body should be named in other way, body isn´t magic

The greatest thing about him is that he is already 6'3 and only 17 years old. He will probably be 6'5 when he's fully grown. When you have someone who is so skilful and light on his feet, and yet taller than most defenders, that is a freaky combination.

chelsea wont get him. they have torres, drogba, anelka and sturridge. it would be a complete waste of talent to buy lukaku, as he would probably waste away on the banch during the tender years that he needs to mature as a player. At liverpool, he would be adored by the kop and kenny would give him first team football often. Look at what he's doing with sterling who's still in school! Even N'Gog gets a run out under the King...

soo under rated! so many people say he's bad...but he's 17 and scoring for fun in a league from which at least a third of the teams would survive in the premiership. far better than reserve team football and the odd FA cup match like most juniors. and he scores against big teams like bayern, hamburg and ajax in europe matches.
