It seems you could have recovered her though...I also drive a Focus, from 2001, and it's like a life-time love-story; It must have been a great loss for you; Hope you're fine and ok now ;)

I could have saved her if I really wanted but the whole chassis was torn so I sold the car.

The new owner restored it but after a while he had another accident wich resulted in a total loss of the car, I've seen pictures and I'll have to say the car really looked bad...

It just wasn't save anymore the time I sold it, the new owner was a crazy fool at that point.

My car also was a real love story, it hurt a lot when I lost it.

I bought a Focus '03 after this, now I drive a Mondeo Ghia-X :-)

Ja hij is terug hersteld door de nieuwe eigenaar (al was deze Focus eigenlijk rijp voor de schroothoop want was zo krom als een banaan). Deze heeft er zo'n tweetal jaar mee gereden vooraleer deze er zelf een zwaar ongeval mee heeft gehad, resultaat --> Focus naar de eeuwige jachtvelden ;-)

The engine of this Focus is 1.8 TDdi, TDci is restyling mk1, consumption and other information I don´t know because I have 1.6 16V 100CV essence

Consumption of 8-9 liters per 100 kilometers speaking on combined consumption (city / highway) or the power-performance to be 100hp engine, fault some minor electrical faults, mechanical faults in any moment, has 153420 kilometers and I have done all maintenance up to date, no leakage of engine oil and little oil consumption

The engine is different because the injection is not the same type, and that an engine has the same engine block does not mean that the size of the valves, injection pumps, etc, are all equal but remains in the engine cylinder block

@donzaxspeed: the car I own for about 4 years now is a 1.8Tdci and it's consumption is about 5.3 - 5.5L/100KM.
