I do: run up the box, drop a torque on him, empty a clip from the lancer, shooting whenever the little bats aren't on him, he's stuck, I drop grenades - empty clip, rinse repeat, then move on to torques, rinse repeat and he's still there while I'm out of ammo.
After seeing this video, killed him first time! Thx. If your struggling to get him in the same position as the video, Just keep running round that block till he does get stuck :)
So here is my prediction for Gears Of War 3. RAAM "Died" Right? I think wrong! :) See what happened is that when RAAM died he went down with the train into imulsion right? And Imulsion apparently has powers. Remember that Brumak that went crazy when he stepped in the Imulsion? My prediction for RAAM! Hes come back as a Lambant Loucust. :D
i want to tell who are stucked right there there is i easy solution is to let him chase u then run fast to the hight place he was at the video then u will find w sub-machine gun use it then u will kill him in less than 20 sec if u kept aiming good i dont know why all the videos here not mentioning it ^ _ ^

I took ~15 tries, but I did it. Alone. It's the hardest boss I've ever fought, even on normal (it's easier to beat Skorge on Insane, than RAAM on normal)

I learned that it kind of matters which way you go when fighting him. Multiple times like sometimes if you go to the left door before the fight begins he'll get stuck. if you go to the right door, then he won't get stuck. i think. hope that helps o-o

Dude this is complete fucking bullshit. I'm playing on casual and everything fucking kills me. You say that bats can't get to you on that block? THEY DO! The reavers are even worse, if the bats don't kill you, the reavers WILL. And even when I get him there, the grenades kill ME and not him. This method is bullshit, and I'm playing on lowest difficulty.
@crazyjorge2111 try hitting reavers with torque bow and what i did to beat this on insane is me and a friend sat in the cover at the place where you start and we shot all the torque bow ammo at him (active reloaded every time) and he died before he even got to us.
Yeah your tactic worked for me but if you are not playing with a friend, Dom as the moron he is can run right infront of me when I try to fire the torque bow.

Did anyone notice that they put a palace guard on top of Skorge's mount rather than him in the end of the game? Just pointing that out. I guese they didn't have any idea of what to do about him yet at the time.

Xbox Kinect is much different than a Playstation 2 Eye Toy motion sensor. its much more advanced. Kinect can detect body motion full 3d.

just a tip for those trying to do this, and its not working
if he doesnt get stuck the first time he walks towards the block, just make sure you continually go around the block facxing opposite him, and he will eventually become stuck

I played this on insane, (Xbox 360 co-op.) and I didn't use the glitch. I ran to the furthest block, and shot RAAM, while my friend kept the kryll (Those bats...) at bay. When ever RAAM approached, I retreated, and my friend gave me suppressive fire. Then I did the same for him. It wasn't that hard, when I didn't have to revive Dom's dumb fat ass.
Doms a fucking idiot! i jsut had the boss stuck in that bit with the block and what did dom do? fucking neded reviving, so its either i die from not reviving him or i go take a chance and revive him, i go to revive him and what happens? i die! im still odin it now!!!
Not totally sure but because this game has been doing the rounds for about 4 years they probably fixed the glitch.
I think the checkpoints in this game suck donkey boner. Totally the wrong points, and usually just before some stupid earphone anya time-whoring moment. Good call for Gears 2 where you could tell her to shut up.
Okay. I just did this on insane mode. Took about 20 tries to accomplish. General Raam does get stuck at the block in the video, but only about 1 out of every 7 times. For the record, I always had to run around the block a few times before he got stuck. If you are patient, you will defeat him.
Why did they make this boss so difficult? This was not fun at all. Just very annoying. It's like the makers of this game wanted to piss off their customers!
Lol i know right. took me 57 tries to beat RAAM on casual first time i ever played GOW (yes I counted!). But GOW 2 boss is way too easy. I beat Skorge on my first try on insane

btw he health depends on diffculty. 6 heads shot with sniper on casuel however u spell it.
12 on hardcore and 18 on insane. btw there is a chain gun but not a good idea to use it. because u will be wide in the open and yeah u will die quick.

After 5 trys I beat him in 1 or 2 minutes (on co-op), we were just blindfiring with a lancer when he was right next to use- It came as a suprise and I guess it was just a big fluke.

I played Gears of War 2 before this and I must say it kicks ass! If anyone else also thinks this is too short, play the second one! It's long, furious and exciting as hell! Plus it has a LOT of extras. Rate 5 out of 5.

YOU HAVE to have gernades, run up to the block, and just toss them at the back plate and they will explode on him sending the bats off of him, when the bats are off of him raam takes damage, SHOOT WHEN THE BATS ARE OFF OF HIM
GREAT VID! did this alone on casual split screen in about 20 tries with 2nd plyr inactive, then failed hardcore for about 10 tries with ai dom, cause he kept luring raam away from the sweet spot. so i switched to split screen hc to keep dom still and got it first try. key is to keep shooting raam to lure him down the right side to the sticky spot.
i just got player 2 to destract him while i ran up got on the troika and SHOT THE FUCK OUTTA HIM!!!! if i might add (and by the way it was on hardcore)
okay at the end of the level you kill RAAM then u fire the bombs into the locust hideout place cave thing then they die and all that but wut happends to the locust that was not inside the mine and wat happends to the kryll
i ve got better strategy.stay where cutscene ends and shoot him with torque bow.but you have to aim right on hi head.i use 6 bows and.....raam is down:)))
If you still cant beat him then its easier if u put it on split screen and make both players crouch behind the first long block and shoot him wiv p1 & when its reloading use p2 controller to shoot him and vice versa.When he gets close jus make 1 character jump and run to the oposite long block and repeat.

Doms a fucking idiot! i jsut had the boss stuck in that bit with the block and what did dom do? fucking neded reviving, so its either i die from not reviving him or i go take a chance and revive him, i go to revive him and what happens? i die! im still odin it now!!!

Using the shotgun is way faster than using the lancer. just takes a couple of rounds from the shotgun on insane

Not totally sure but because this game has been doing the rounds for about 4 years they probably fixed the glitch.
I think the checkpoints in this game suck donkey boner. Totally the wrong points, and usually just before some stupid earphone anya time-whoring moment. Good call for Gears 2 where you could tell her to shut up.

This is true, I've just done it. I guess the guys at Epic realised how shocking hard RAAM was to do otherwise.
ATT: THIS GLITCH DEFINITELY DOES WORK. Might need to do a couple passes at the block though.

Okay. I just did this on insane mode. Took about 20 tries to accomplish. General Raam does get stuck at the block in the video, but only about 1 out of every 7 times. For the record, I always had to run around the block a few times before he got stuck. If you are patient, you will defeat him.
Why did they make this boss so difficult? This was not fun at all. Just very annoying. It's like the makers of this game wanted to piss off their customers!

Lol i know right. took me 57 tries to beat RAAM on casual first time i ever played GOW (yes I counted!). But GOW 2 boss is way too easy. I beat Skorge on my first try on insane

btw he health depends on diffculty. 6 heads shot with sniper on casuel however u spell it.
12 on hardcore and 18 on insane. btw there is a chain gun but not a good idea to use it. because u will be wide in the open and yeah u will die quick.

After 5 trys I beat him in 1 or 2 minutes (on co-op), we were just blindfiring with a lancer when he was right next to use- It came as a suprise and I guess it was just a big fluke.

Got a bit disappointed though. Game was way too short.
I played Gears of War 2 before this and I must say it kicks ass! If anyone else also thinks this is too short, play the second one! It's long, furious and exciting as hell! Plus it has a LOT of extras. Rate 5 out of 5.

YOU HAVE to have gernades, run up to the block, and just toss them at the back plate and they will explode on him sending the bats off of him, when the bats are off of him raam takes damage, SHOOT WHEN THE BATS ARE OFF OF HIM

GREAT VID! did this alone on casual split screen in about 20 tries with 2nd plyr inactive, then failed hardcore for about 10 tries with ai dom, cause he kept luring raam away from the sweet spot. so i switched to split screen hc to keep dom still and got it first try. key is to keep shooting raam to lure him down the right side to the sticky spot.

i ve got better strategy.stay where cutscene ends and shoot him with torque bow.but you have to aim right on hi head.i use 6 bows and.....raam is down:)))

If you still cant beat him then its easier if u put it on split screen and make both players crouch behind the first long block and shoot him wiv p1 & when its reloading use p2 controller to shoot him and vice versa.When he gets close jus make 1 character jump and run to the oposite long block and repeat.
