  • Hendrik- leave I you hate them, because as you see, the comments are mostly good ones not your retarded opinions.

  • i would totally name my dog elvis.

  • Most hyperactive dog ever. sorry to troll but i hate labs. had 2 of em and they just arent as smart and they dont have defensive or protective instincts. i suggest rottweiler to everyone who has owned a dog before. not for first timers

  • @thefashioncore labs are fantastic pets. I have one and he's the sweetest boy on the planet. Just be patient during the teething phase..they chew.

  • Im watching this episode since im probably gonna get me a lab soon =D heard they were great family dogs and obedient with the right training =D

  • @allstarweekend9224 have u tried glucosamine supplements and maybe additional fish oils? They helped me uncles dog

  • @Puglovex You used to have one? I've had four... If you check lists of the most intelligent breeds, it consistently ranks among the top 10.

My exact words were "they have been proven to be one of the most intelligent breeds." Not THE MOST intelligent, not THE TOP THREE, but ONE OF THE MOST intelligent.

  • Black Labs Forever !!

  • labs=awsome

  • im getting a Labrador today cant wait!!!

  • i have an american yellow lab. she turns 6 in nov. love her to death! got her for christmas. the only thing she has wrong with her is joint soreness after running. and she gets hotspots like no other! does anyone know any good things i could help her. i have tried tons of medications new foods right now she is on salmon and rice.. is that good? i think it is by euricka.

  • @Allstarweekend9224 I had a lab cross who recently passed away at age 13. She had joint trouble all her life, and the only thing that helped her climb stairs right up to the end was Shark Cartilage... any health food store has it, and without it I don't know what I would have done!

  • There's white labs right?

  • @MaddDogg81 there not an official color. they are just a light yellow. i got a yellow lab and from the same little there was to "white" one. they mostly dont have much yellow pigment.

  • WOW!!!These Dogs Are FOund Everywhere In India!!In Streets!!I never expected this much from this dog!WOW!

  • I had a Labrador growing up.He died way back in 2001,and I was 17 at the time.I own an English Cocker Spaniel now,but my Lab still pops up in conversation some time or the other.

  • I want one, I had one when I was little

  • i want a lab sooo bad!

  • We have a black lab mix and he is such a teddy bear it's awesome! He is dapple in color and he's such a good dog, he never barks unless its something majorly important, like a stranger he doesn't like in the yard. If you are considering a lab look in your local newspaper to see if there is any free lab mix puppies or go to your local shelter.

  • my neigbour rescued a staffie from her neighbour , and shes a good dog tho she extremly dog aggressive , rescue first theres a dog out thier that needs a home

  • HAHA I love how when he jumped in the water, the birds didn't even flinch.

  • i wish i brought home a lab, but i adore my staffie even though they carry a negative stigma. maybe i'll get a second dog, and this time go for a labrador.

  • i ad a labrador for 14 years before we had to put her down last year, she was the best dog, i miss her sooo much, we have finally started looking for a new dog to bring into our life. I MISS YOU AND LOVE YOU SAMMY <3

  • This is a great demo and explanation of Labradors. I will use this on my Labrador blog. Thanks.

  • Wait the dog's name is Elvis? For a sec I thought he said Elle Woods

  • in the summer i'll buy a lab...i can't wait,he will be my first dog

  • full speed ahead

  • My lab is the only lab that doesnt like water. FML

  • is there much difference between a golden- and labrador retriever? Maybe the coat?

  • @SinisterSkip Golden retrievers are a completely different breed. They have a similar appearance, but their fur is thick, fluffy and long, and wavy. They require a lot more grooming.

  • my lab is 14 and still doing good :)

  • Choose for a lab.. they are very easy to handle and very sweet (I have a yellow lab)

  • why didnt those swans swim away wen the dog jumped in the water

  • @Sento35 because those swans are fake

  • @Sento35

    theyre fakes to attract ducks

    and geese

  • Thers two kind of lab right?

  • Marley!

  • my uncle had a lab but he didnt teach it when it was a puppy he started teaching it when it was half grown ONLY in the summer......no offence a hated tht dog it jumped all over you and knocked one of my teeth out D:

  • @DKaitlynn rofl

  • my first dog was a lab. she was the best friend i ever had.

  • @froliscousness these dogs eat anything, they eat shit, eat food remains in the sink, eat tinfoil, roll in shit, eat their own sick.

these dogs are the human equivalent of chinese people

  • @teedonster Most dogs will if you give them the chance. A friend of mine had a Bichon Frise that ate used nappies.

  • a point for the hillbilly music

another point because my dog is a labrador

  • the labrador loves. Unconditionably. I love him for that. some of them even point!

  • Goldens and Labs are the best thing to ever have happened to this world!

  • watch?v=A8Ohyqr0shg

  • pick the black one they are more attentive and obidient

  • i want to get a lab retriever but cant decide what colour can anybody help me :( they are all beautiful

  • @Djbennett95 pick the Yellow lab, it more looks b igger and handsome, but the black lab makes look more strong nd the choco is a bit rare

  • @Djbennett95 Chocolate

  • @Djbennett95 chocolste is the coolest looking thats the color i want...black is very cool as well and looks most athletic...i like a golden retriever over the yellow lab

  • @meneedmoney The black labs and the yellow labs have good temperaments. The chocolate labs are harder to control. The most unpredictable are the meth labs.

  • marely!

  • 2:00-2:04 <3 <3

  • I've had Labradors since i was a baby. They're amazing dogs(:

  • Now... To play Duck Hunt.

  • how come John Grogan's lab (Marley) can live up to 13 (or 14) years when the lifespan of labs is 12 years?

  • mine just died :( 11 1/2 years old

  • oh marley

  • Before you get a Labrador puppy try the the rescue centers, i have just got a lab x, cant think what he is crossed with because he looks all lab to me. He is thought to be 2 yrs old, he has a fantastic temperment is house trained and is fantastic with kids. i can't imagine why he was abandoned, but their loss is my gain. Because he's fantastic

  • @Cathymccor One of my moms coworkers adopted a Lab and it turns out he had diabetes and ended up needing 20+ dollars a day to keep him alive. Their owns loss was a loss for my moms friend. I'm going to a shelter about 30mins away from my house, hopefully i pick out a dog like yours. :)

  • My family's black lab of 14 years passed away this summer... He was very gangly and awkward-looking for a lab, but he was the sweetest boy you could've asked for.

  • @ANorthernSong yah my black lab is 13 now hes gettin pretty gnarly. still full of life tho my dad has him out bird hunting right now haha he cant last as long as he used to but hes got one big heart and loves every minute of it

  • my first word was my labs name she was the best dog ever

  • @DefendTheHouse27 how much do one cost when the a pup

  • @125TVThird i have no clue she was like 9 years when i was born and she got put down when i was 6 and ours was i think free because my dads friend gave it to him because his dog just had babies

  • labs are friendly dogs and all, but I just don't really like them. They seem too boring to me, they look very "average" and not interesting.

Not to mention all the health problems. They are okay dogs. I'm just not very fond of them.

  • @bluegama500

Trust me, there is nothing "boring" about my lab. He's silly, entertaining and so much fun.

He's 8 years old and so far hasn't had any health problems. He still acts like a pup and doesn't even look that old.

  • @paingoret6 Oh ok :D

  • @bluegama500 Any breed, particularly a larger breed, comes with its own health problems. To avoid them it is best to get a dog from an accredited breeder who does not inbreed the dogs.

  • I have a Lab/Shepherd & he is a maniac. I've never known any other dog to have such a crazy, expressive personality. :D I love him!

  • my old dog murphy was a 150 pound tank of a lab he was not fat he was muscle he was hit by a car stuck in cement lost in the worst storm we've had in years and all i have left of him is pictures and the pile of rocks we burried him under. murphy thank you for making my childhood great i love you and never will forget you!

    R.I.P murphy :'(

  • whats the diffrence between this and the dogs101 show??

  • dayumm that dog was crazy when it jumped into the water full speed! my labs go crazy when they see water or ducks, they are great pets thats for sure

  • My lab is my best friend, he's a black 6 months pure breed.

Cute! Intelligent and always wants to play!!! :D

    Thats my lil Puma

  • my lab always want to swim and chase ducks lol

  • I'm dog sitting a lab named Ella, she's so cute :D!

  • My Lab is my best freind in the world , thow I'm only 12 , I've rased her sence she was borned , now she's almost 11 months old.

I lovew her the most in the world , and I've been traning her in dogs schools.

Thow she hasen't tryed to swim in a lake but we're gona try in some time.

  • labs and border collies all the way thumbs up if you agree

  • @Slayert80 and flatcoated retrievers!!

  • labrador or german shepherd. Cant decide.

  • @bluejimmy168 Buy a Lab! They're cuter...well if you want a bodyguard a GSD is better but still i like the playfulness of the labrador!

  • i got my lab when she was just 4months trained her and kept her well, i think its in their breed to fetch or retrieve stuff *but some needs training like how to fetch the paper in the early morning and to get your stuff, i think my labs best at waking me up at sharply 5 am by licking my face :)...but beware...she already bit one of my friends cause they acted as a stranger...almost tore a part of his foot off :) but labs are the bestest dogs ever!

  • Our Boxer had an older Labrador friend, big one too. They are gentle giants. Just look at them and you know that they wouldn't hurt a fly. They do seem to be a bit thick but I think that's one of the things that make them so adorable.

  • @urishima Actually, they have been proven to be one of the most intelligent breeds.

  • All other breeds WANT to be a labrador!

  • how do you train them to rerieve stuff?

  • @smell0my0nipples its in their blood. its their instincts.

  • go labbies

  • Love the labs so much. They got a bit of a digging problem but they are such loving and affectionate dogs. I'd recommend them as a first dog. Especially the puppies! So adorable and they can learn things young too.

  • i love my lab! she is such a sweetheart but she would bite someone's arm off if they posed as a threat.

  • dont they have gray and silver 2 and i just got mine today its yellow 2 month old lab

  • @ amijiron Yes, my kids lay on him pull his ears and he does nothing but lick them..But, come over to my house and jump the fence I dare you and he will tear you a new mudhole..Good with family bad with strangers..A butthead but I love him anyway..I don't beat this dog or mistreat him in any way..He's just aggressive by nature and a yellow lab..So I think it is a myth that ALL yellow labs are mellow..Some are just nuts like the one I got..

  • @vaqueromuerto You shouldn't let your children lie on your dog and pull his ears. Why would you think that's OK? It's a weird thing when people are proud of how much you can irritate or hurt their dog without him reacting. As a dog-owner and a parent, surely it should be your concern to make sure that the children are kind and respectful to the dog, as well as the dog being gentle with the children?

  • I have some really cute labrador puppies. They're my first dogs ever and I couldn't ask for a better breed to be MY first dogs!

  • They're strong, dependable, a fetchy personality, and THEY'RE AWESOME!!

  • i love labs!!!!

  • aww fck . . . my oldest friendliest labrador just died 3 mins ago . . . jeez i miss him. their very friendly dogs:]. it doesnt matter if they live long or not, they'll be with you and make the happiest moments EVER.

  • I agree with 1badmp83 this dog WILL protect his master and family. I own a yellow lab and unfortunately he is overprotective. He is good with family but with strangers he does bite. I also own an australian cattle dog who whoops his ass when she gets tired of him playing around. He's a good dog none the less..

  • @vaqueromuerto a lab with a bad temperament? odd ...p

  • hi can i know how many percent that go to the puppy if the father is german sheperd and mother is labrador?

  • @simx21

    50 50 u retard....

  • i have a 14 year old yellow lab he's so cute

  • perfect breed...what a dog should be.

  • My sister had a Lab once. She was such a sweet dog. I miss her.

    R.I.P. Star

  • i like this animal so much

i hope one day i have black labrador

  • i have a yellow lab

  • black labrador rocka

  • I love my yellow lab, Madison!! :) So sweet and smart! :D

  • LOL...this is seriously true...although Golden Retrievers are the legendary champs of obedience comps...the best at actual "retrieving" is definatley the Lab...my GR is a great swimmer...blows away 99percent of other dogs...but my buddy has chocolate female...a lot smaller and nothing like as well built...but she swims like a seal when we play "swim-fetch" at the beach...poor mighty Homer gets "owned" at his favourite game.

    :-)

  • black isnt a colour either...

    just live with it.

  • @uproariousRIOT they call it chocalate cuz its the color that looks like chocolate

  • black... it means black

  • wooo! go labs!!! i've got a black lab and she's the sweetest most obedient dog i've ever had!!

  • i have a mix breed labrador/alley dog and i have no clue how old he is can anyone help? he is a mix but he looks more of a lab than an alley dog

  • i have a female lab/pitbull.

    black with white furrr..

  • i got female lab x greyhound black with white tips

  • Labs are great! My cousins had them when I was growing up and they're great dogs. However they do need room to run and play, especially the young ones. Otherwise they can be destructive. I know a family that has a lab shepard mix, but they live in a townhouse setting with a small yard, so he doesn't have much room to run. As a result he gets into a lot of things and often runs off onto other people's property. :(

  • Labradors are cute. My neigbor has one called Saffi.

  • Ohh I LOVE labradors!!

We have a Black boy named Jet.

Best dog i've ever had and so easy to train!!

  • wow ur dog sounds like a real fatass 200 pounds? better fix that diet or give him some exercise LMAO..wtf...

  • i hav one, his name is buddy, and he is almost 200 pounds!GO LABS!!!!

  • I have a Flat Coated Retriever / Golden Retriever mix, and a red Golden - both females. They are top notch dogs. They do bark at "intruders" and people that knock on the door but they calm down once they see it's someone we know. Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers are also very excellent dogs and smaller than Labs.

  • I have two labs that I put videos of here on youtube

  • Labs- one of my passions in life. I can't wait to be done with college and move to a real house so I can have a ladrador!

  • thas what Ima do!

  • @mrdasilver i have a lab their awsome i cant wait to get me a house and get another one@!

  • @mrdasilver I'm in the same situation right now! I cant wait to move and get one, they are such wonderful dogs.

  • @mrdasilver very gay dogs

  • @mrdasilver feel the same way dude...i want a running buddy

  • @mrdasilver me too dude!

  • i have a female labradore

she doesnt take shit from anything

we know ppl with pitbulls and rottweilers and they try to pull shit on her but it doesnt work

she actually flipped the pitbull once lol

  • hav u trained her 2 b agrressive then

  • there are two sorts of labrador... the hunt line and the show line.. i personally recommend the hunt line if u want to buy a lb, they are much calmer and smarter than the show line. and they are not so neurotic and do not bark .

  • how much do they cost???

  • I have a black lab and she amazing unbelievably smart and she dont bark bite or lick. labs are the best

  • Aww!!!! I adore the ones that are brown: they look like a piece of running chocolate:-)

  • Whats the different between golden and labrador retrievers??

  • completely different breeds..labs are considered the best dogs in the world! super smart

  • i have two lads there dob!:)

  • I want a black lab puppy, and a yellow lab puppy, and I will name them carl and Lenny, anyone know what I'm referencing?

  • the simpsons black and yellow workers in the nuclear plant

  • Labs are the best breed out there!

  • Why?

  • i have a black lab.

    he is awsome!

    he loves sea and swimming.

he is about 7.5 years old, but he is very active.

  • I love chocolate labs. :]

  • me too there adorable

  • when im older i was thinking about getting a german shepard and a labrador

  • My lab is a shedding sensation! Does anyone know of a good shampoo to use on a lab?

  • As a kid, I grew up with 2 Lab's, 1 chocolate and 1 golden. Like the video say's, they are the best breed of dog around. I'm now 27 and have a black one, Buddy, he is great with my kids

  • What's the difference between a yellow labrador retrevier and a golden retreiver?

  • the coat obviously!

  • Im currently deployed to Afghanistan with my military working dog who IS a LAB. He is an explosives detector and my best friend. Dont let anyone tell you they wont protect you. He always alerts me to the sounds of someone coming towards my door or when out on mission... someone approaching in the dark. LABS ARE GREAT DOGS.

  • best dog ever. My lab saved my life from a rottie when I was little.

  • @chevalover06 whoa i would like to have your dog

  • @luke90kid thanks! I miss her a lot. She passed away many years ago.

  • @chevalover06 so you hate rottweiler

  • @teddybear4422 Never said that. I just didn't like the particular one that was going to harm me.

  • @chevalover06 how could a lab save you from a rotweiler? It'd get ripped to shreds.

  • @TroutMaskReplicaa not necessarily, my dog was fighting to protect me, so there was more at stake for her. Believe what you want, but I clearly remember her racing down the street and lunging at the rottie to keep him away from me until my parents came and got me out of there.

  • I can see why their popular but I'd rather have a dog that not everyone has. Labs are good dogs for a lot of ppl, but in my case a soft mouth will not do! And that is why I have a Doberman. His sharp teeth, and fierce beauty keeps away strangers. And yet he's friendly with kids, and loves to please.

  • The term "soft mouth" as applied to the Lab does not preclude the use of that feature(mouth) as an offensive(or, more desirablely, a defensive) instrument. The so called "soft mouth" allows a dog to manipulate objects without damaging them. My Newfoundland, with his soft mouth, is thus able to retreive something as delicate as a drowing infant without causing harm. However, if the need arises this mouth is capable of excerting enormous pressure. A Lab (cousin of the Newfoundland) can do the same

  • This maybe true, but for me a lab could not do the job of my dobe. The lab is good in what is breed to do and makes a good family dog, but not a good guard dog. My dobe, even tho he is still a puppy keeps strangers at bay with his intimating look and his sharp scissor bite, even w/o having to bark or growl. A lab looks friendly and is a dog most will approach, which is bad in the case of man approaching you and intending to harm you.

  • Not true. I've been attacked by a pitbull while walking my two labs. They both stood their ground and fought back, while I kicked the animal. His owner came out, or we probably would have ended up killing him.

  • doubt that you'd be able to kill a pitbull. Then again i've never seen labs acually fight back.

  • Well yur labs probably had some Rottweiler in the mix lol. And yea if put to the test if a dog has a close bond with their owner, most will fight bak to protect their owners. But I just wouldn't trust having a lab protect me and guard my home. that's just not what their meant to do, their the dogs that wanna plz ppl not the dog that wants to bite and growl.

  • god i am in love with athe newfoundland...brown or black, the landseer is nice too...ne ways i have a bernese right now and they are very similar in size and tempermant...

  • Border Collie kicks the labs ass. LOL.

Nah. Not really. I have 2 labs and a Border Collie. My labs are THE best at swimming and driving...

  • hey sarasidlexshego....the ducks r fake and used for decoys while hunting
