I got the thing cause it looks nice. yes it works fine but I have multiple programs that already do the same thing, so if you wanna for looks go ahead and get it , nobody really needs it lol
im putting together a similar rig atm, i was looking into the AeroCool fan controllers and have read mixed reviews. whats your opinion on em? i was looking at the touch 2000 i think its called, mostly for its temp gages tho. Also i think u need red LED fans with that motherboard ;)
@DAVERUKY This is my first build, i just was glad it all worked when i was done, i dont care much about cable management, im switching out parts to try new stuff all the time so i have to be able to take stuff out fast. im glad you like it, if you have a video of yours i would love to see it.
@DAVERUKY ok im like that sometimes parts in/out fans replaced and i overclock so have to keep reset cmos remove battery sometimes my cables are messy too! ill make a vid sometime of mine for you 2 c.
What DDR3 configuration have you got? Do you have 4*4 or what? AS I have read a lot of people having trouble filling all 4 DDR3 slots. I just bought this board and have ordered 16gb and was just wondering. Thanks
@mixsetup Make sure you go to asrock and check what memory mine is supported i am using kingston hyper X KHX1600C9D3K2/8G 4 sticks it comes in 2 stick packs so i got 2 packs its 1600 speed and it works perfect, i had to adjust it from 1333 to 1600 on the settings but other than that it works good.
@udontseemebutiseeyou Yep you can with phenom II x 2 BLACK EDITON they are all quad cores with 2 cores disabled, only prob is that you might not be able to get them to run stable, kinda 50 50 flip a coin, i have the Phenom II x2 560 black edition callisto 3.3GHz 80w dual core CPU unlocked to QUAD core and overclocked at 3.8GHZ ON AIR COOLER HYPER 212 PLUS CPU COOLER
