Thank god I was born in the '70s. If I was a kid of today and all I had to look forward to was the next Justin Beiber concert I think I'd hang myself!
i felt the solo needed more pace. it was great, but they started the tune at such a blistering pace that some quicker phrases, such as the one towards the end, would have been better served.
Clapton blows the roof off with that solo! I'd like to see some of todays "musicians" play this perfect live... Amazing how these guys just enjoys being on stage.
this is absolutely THE BEST performance of "Layla" i've ever seen...it's simply incerdible! Surely, the colaboration of two great guitarists has contributed greatly to this
of the thosands of versions i've heard of clapton playing layla, this is one of the best solos - the way he hardly looks at the fretboard throughout the solo just adds to the brilliance of it all.
who is playing keyboard in the 2nd part, why didn't Elton play it?

Phil Collins makes a cameo at 3:09 - Ferrone kicks his ass in this though!

Who's the Guy on the drums?
