  • 4 flashes? Really? All I use is my on camera flash and I'm good to go!

  • great vid,stupid music though

  • Can I ask why is the IR filter in-front of the popup flash?

  • @fintarabg the filter is to prevent the popup flash from contributing any light to the image but allows the flash to transmit the light-based signal to the slave flash(es). I didn't want any on-camera light as it can be reflected back as lots of specular highlights and I wanted more of an even lighting.

  • But how do you get the picture of the many drops with many different colors at 3:36? you only used one gel which is blue.. i am confused :(

  • help plz..?

  • @MrCJ1988 photoshop layers and photoshop painting of colors will let you tint water drop photos or any other photos for that matter - it's all post production for that - try a mix of filters and then blend the results

  • @floamman Erm... I gotta learn some Photoshop :P lol I have Cs5 Extended but I have no clue how to use Photoshop..thank you very much for the reply though.

  • Gorgeous shots of the water.

Water, and the way it moves, is fascinating.

  • Can't that flash melt the bag ?

  • While it does get warm I haven't had problem with it on the bag or the gel. With all of the flashes and the on-camera taking time to refresh it really is hard to push it too. Plus, the example sink is metal, which works nicely to transfer heat.

  • Great work, thanks for the guide.
