The guitar rift makes this song, and always has. This was not a good choice of song if you are going to try and win a vocal competition. In any case, he does a great job.

Dave doesn't look impressed, but it wasn't a bad rendition... I may even like it slightly better than the original. He really captured the enthusiasm
