@Ibringthetruth1 diesel is CHEAPER than petrol/gas. but then mail reason is that you have more torque than petrol (torque is basicly the engines ability på pull alot of weight ;))

i know D9s are huge but I'm surprised how big this motor is. wow is it really 1750 lb ft of torque? torque's what matters.

Built a few of them over the years . Lots of time involved in machine work and assembly . I have an engine machine shop capable of handling up to a KT 50 Cummins . I really enjoy working on thes big engines .

yeah like the Sultzer RTAC96C Flex or something like that? 7 stories tall, 14 cylinders inline, and more than 100 feet long? yeah...THAT's an engine... Doesn't that particular one generate over 100k horsepower and 5 million ft lbs of torque or something like that?

the D353 is the smallest of the 6.25" bore series. It's a straight six. All the rest in the series are V's. The V8 is a D379, a V12 is a D398, and the V16 is a D399.  Not that anyone asked me, but that's the scoop

400 HP is meaningless in this application. How many lb-ft of torque does the engine produce??  Gotta be in the ballpark of 2500-3000.

At max rpm of 1200 it has right around 1750 lb-ft of torque.
