@Gromitdog1 What a stupid comment. Stallone wrote the script. The character was never meant to have a lot of dialogue. Funny how idiots sitting behind a keyboard can insult a man who's movies have made over 4 billion dollars world wide in ticket, VHS and DVD sales. This movie was the 2nd highest grossing movie of 1985 and grossed $300,000,000 worldwide. By today's standard that would be over $700,000,000. Rocky IV was close begind as the 3rd highest grossing film of '85. Educate yourself.
This movie is awesome something that i find really funny about this movie is the song in the creditcs i mean the song it's about peace ``peace in our life`` but the movie is about war hahahhahaha i don't see peace in this movie but bullets rockets explotions and more explotions! i love it
i m from Belgium and i grew up with these movies, especially from Sylvester Stallone, Rambo and Rocky, these were his best movies, respect from Belgium
It's an awesome movie but I reckon if you tried shooting the enemy like he does ie. Shooting from the hip your more likely to get killed. Still I love the movie :D
Go watch the new ww2 TV serie "The Pacific" by HBO and produced by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks (successor to "Band of Brothers"). Gunnery Sergeant John Basilone in that series is one damn marine! He held off japanese soldiers on Guadalcanal in the middle of the night with his warm machine gun on his arm and ammo chain around his neck.. Someone referred to him as "1940's Rambo". And John Basilone was real! Sylvester Stallone watch out ;)
What Hitler did was not so different what Americans did it in Vietnam. They have used the chemical weapon called "agent orange" which poisoned 4.8 vietnamese people, mostly civilians. It resulted 400,000 deaths and disabilities, and 500,000 children born with birth defects. Still many "ally" soldiers of American Vietnamese civilians are suffering.
Because the Rocky voice in not his real voice. He actually lowers his voice for the Rocky films, to make him sound slower and dumber. Listen to some interviews with Stallone. He's actually quite brilliant and articulate. He would have to be...he wrote the screenplays and directed many of his movies.
If you want a film to make it good at the box office, get Don LaFontaine to do the trailer voice over...they did...pity he's dead now he's got the voice of a movie God
I FUCKING LOVE RAMBONER

who can not be defeated because he is a man without a fear.
I like this personality.

I strongly respect Vietnam people who defended their lands. Their loyalty for socialism and for Hồ Chí Minh.

Why is stallone's voice so much higher in this movie than it is in the rocky movies. cuz both rambo and rocky came out at around the same time.

His Rocky Balboa accent was partially fake, if not entirely. He is a lot more literate and quick-thinking than he shows in Rocky.
