oh oh oh oh... I'm neither Kenyan nor Tanzania, but an African who enjoys good Frican music... I have indeed fallen in love with this track... So beautiful... this is what Africa is all about.
This old skool music where can I find a CD. I live in the Arid zone of America where such nice music is hard to find. Reminds of old days. I dont understand swahili but grew up listening to this music.
Swahili, a Bantu language with many Arabic loan words, developed as a lingua franca for trade between the different peoples. But there is no tribe called Swahili. Different Tribes use today Swahili also around their songs to interpreting that makes from these songs however no Swahili song separate it remains the song of the respective Tribe. Exactly the same it would be if one Malaika on English sings and maintains it would be an English song.
yes most pple know that swahili is a mixture of arabic and native african language.....
The Ignoranz of humans is a part of the problems in the world.
just to tell you if someone does not lsten to other pple's ideas and way of hinking he/she is the one who is ignorant......wake up and smell the coffee,...

English,French Spanish and many more languages have a lot of loanwords, so whats your problem! (Swahili peoples) is tribe and i am one of them!
all Swahili peoples have similar culture, tradition, firm (ethical) standards and religion!
