  • love this band!!!

  • Wow, that's how under appreciated this band is: even on their video, the comments are all about Rise Against...

But seriously, this video seems so similar to Thrice's "All That's Left".

  • @TheNatedogg56 the RA comments are probably because they both made their first album at the same time and have toured together alot.

  • guitarist looks like Jermain from Flight of the Concords

  • blank tv must have the worst quality ass videos out there.....the resolution always sucks!!!

  • I love melodic hardcore. I like this band musically but I disagree with their message. Anarchism have more negative than positive impact. Just my opinion. :)

  • @nydrastos how? nature is a perfect anarchy.. native americans lived in perfect harmony with mother nature in pure anarchism you cant say its completly bad..

  • @kasrken To me, complete freedom and a lack of authority would be a disaster. We all have different belief, personality and our own way to get what we desire. It may work in a small group of people such as indigenous peoples but it will be disastrous if we want to apply it to a country. You can imagine that but still, I respect your ideology.

  • @nydrastos but thats the problem the only thing keeping so many people alive are fossil fuels, if we were to be true punks we should respect nature. only time will tell what actually happens because the truth about things is most of us will die in the near future. you cant hide that saudi oil fields are almost depleted. i respect your thinking too but life is changing fast, 9 billion human beings live on this planet right now what happens when we reach 10? or we run out of oil?

  • @kasrken 7 billion*

  • @Bliingboii sorry :) all i know is thats alot of fucking people...!

  • @kasrken not really. they had leaders and usually some sort of governing body.

  • @br0Xr0xx0rz yes but it wasnt absolute control over everybody there, they didnt just go to your hut and steal all your stuff burn it down and kill everyone except you just for some food and money... when the world only had 100,000 know humans on the planet everyone wasnt thinking "How are we going to invade that tribe, oh maybe we can starve them or maybe we can go to war.." no things like this didnt just sprout in their minds

  • @kasrken When hunter gatherer societies existed there definitely was inter tribe warfare... They would invade another clan and steal their food and women.

  • @br0Xr0xx0rz i wasnt saying that, i was talking about the governing body of which you were talking about. the governing body didnt make those decisions nature did, no food disease, yeah we're going to take their stuff because they're better off. again they didnt join forces to completly wipe out an oppossing tribe they only took what they needed. nature is as random as the humans that live in it, we are still bound to the earth stop being brainwashed... I'm your opposite number!

  • Are people really annoyed that rise against are were they are now, so what you are basically saying you don't like seeing a band you have liked for along time become huge, if so FUCK YOU rise against has worked their ass off to get were they are and the messages they spread are meaningful and what your pissed off about that?

  • @XxDXARMYXx

I think its more that their style has changed drastically, loads of people loved their earlier stuff (including me), and still like their newer stuff, some just just their older stuff. Its their opinion.

  • This right here is a band that matters now more than ever.

  • they are not like rise against, the vocals are completely different

  • rise against and strike anywhere are both sick bands. stop arguing and listen to the music!

  • Strike Anywhere- The Rise Against who did not go big.

  • If you guys truly are "punk" fans stop arguing with eachother and just be chill. You're supposed to not care after all.

  • @dirtytoenail45 I think you're confusing punks with hippies. Last time I checked, punks weren't "chill" by any stretch of the imagination.

  • @peanuts447 ...punks are some of the most friendly people i've ever met.

it's such an easy group of people to be accepted in. i forgot my bag at a punk festival for 5 hours surround by crusty hardcore motherfuckers and when i finally found it, nobody had touched it at all. i had a lb of grass and 800 bucks at easy access and people had enough respect to not even bother.

    that's fucking chill man.

chill with real punks if you think punks rviolent people

  • @bearblaster420 I never said punks were violent, but thanks for putting words in my mouth. They taste delicious.

  • @peanuts447 well punks are not uptight if that is what you're trying to say.

people see punk as angry music... i find punk music very uplifting

  • @bearblaster420 I would agree with you on that. I just found his use of the word "chill" to be kind of ill-fitting when referring to punks. That's all :)

  • My band opened a show for these guys a few months ago, they're a bunch of great guys, they put on a good show!

  • I have nothing nice to say about this lame-ass band, so I'm not going to say anything.

  • @valceanu why comment then?? twatbag.

  • @valceanu well your a fucken idiot sry but its true

  • @Ezbius You're very articulate. Your intelligence comes through quite clearly. Also, it's very evident that you're hardcore. Rock on, bro. You're doing great!

  • I seen these guys live with Good Riddance in Buffalo, NY. Some guys mohawk got caught in my eyebrow ring in the mosh pit and I had to wrestle him to the ground and get it out as we were getting bootfucked by other moshers until someone pulled us up. It's priceless insanity like that which generate the memories that make the punk scene the time of your life! It was a really great show that night too!

  • Thumbs up if you noticed the lead singer's wearing a Discharge t-shirt!!!

  • @HailChaos and the guitarist wearing a From Ashes Rise shirt.... they definitely like d-beat and crust!

  • @disteev

    And what true punk wouldn't?

  • @HailChaos thumbs up if anyone noticed the guitarist is wearin a from ashes rise tee!!!!

  • @WorldEnslaved

wey estas conectado?...es que luego me agregan pero no me llegan las invitaciones...

  • @AL6025 te agregue desde hace como 2 semanas y no me has aceptado

  • @HailChaos i've got the same shirt:D

  • how can you compare this to Rise Against? Tim's voice is just amazing. this guy sounds like he smoked too much.

  • @dikkiedikownd Maybe because they're both melodic hardcore bands?

  • @fd95117 rise against isnt a melodic hardcore band. rofl who let this noob in here

  • @dikkiedikownd "rofl"? "noob"? Who let YOU in here?

  • @dikkiedikownd

?? Have you heard of The Unraveling? Revolutions Per Minute? Siren Song of the Counterculture? Sufferer and the Witness? the song Collapse? or even the album Endgame? OH WAIT! The answer is NO because you're a conformist fuck who can only take in the songs of fucking Appeal to Reason!!!!!!!!!! You're just one of those mainstream fans who only like the Appeal to Reason Rise Against because you want to fit in. We (real Rise Against fans who actually like the pre- ATR) pity you.

  • @AlmostaFlipinSkater you are a fucking ignorant piece of shit. telling me this bullshit whilst i fucking rock your ass off with rise against songs idiot. go fuck yourself and die sucking this bands dick.

  • this is what got me into Strike Anywhere. great song!

  • hoss munguia-from mexico city !!

  • amazing!!

  • such memories

  • oh my god a justin bieber perfume ad before this that's F@#ked up

  • @altnation10101 the fact that he has to be the saddest thing ive ever heard, also this is random but

THAT is what selling out is, not just a band/singer getting popular it seems like people cant tell anymore

  • stike anywhere is better than rise against!

  • @Milenac1989 i dont think so. both are epic polito-punk. but i believe rise against is better.

  • WOW WAT FUCKING SELLOUTS! I hate seeing bands pussying out and becoming shit to please people and make money

  • @MarcadamiaNut

You're right!!!11 They should just give away all their music and merch for free and crash at their fans' houses, like all the other bands that don't make money. Totally not like these guys deserve to be recognized for the music they make, or their time in the scene, or their influence on other artists in the genre.

It's stupid that you think a group who provides a service, such as entertainment, wouldn't want payment for it. They put time and money into it, why not get it back?

  • @Terymedes trolololololol

  • @MarcadamiaNut It's like you think you're witty or something.

  • @metalheadjohnson if you like strike anywhere try thomas barnett's old band inquisition they are sick

  • @drelliscool so true, try Inquisition, it's really good

  • never old.

  • preemptvestrike.bandcamp.com

  • @MrRokNRoll

Yeah. Same. This is the future of advertisement. Shove it down peoples throats on music vids. -.-'

  • Okay you guys really gotta stop bitching about how much you hate Rise Against. they're style really hasn't changed all that much, and even if Appeal To Reason was not as good, Endgame is amazing. I think you guys are just the type to hate or abandon a band just because they become popular, despite the amazing musical art of their songs and meaningful lyrics. Grow up, Rise Against deserves recognition than most other bands out there.

    PS, Strike Anywhere is amazing.

  • @ThisIsNoise17 agree on that one man

  • @ThisIsNoise17 No, Rise Against used to be the soundtrack to a revolution. Now they're the soundtrack to your 14 years old sister's birthday party.

  • @Holktube Says you, and your hipster instinct. RA has only made their message better, but they still serve the same cause and emotion in their music as before. But I'm glad you can't see that. Rise Against doesn't need a fan like you.

  • @ThisIsNoise17 I know, they have a million pre-teens to take my place and come see them when they play the Warped Tour with Fallout Boy.

  • @Holktube tim was in a band with pete wentz and the rest of fall out boy

  • @ThisIsNoise17 compare art of losing with make it stop not nowhere near same sound

  • @MichealZero1 They have to change somewhere. Compare "The Art of Losing" to Blood Red, White, And Blue", compare that to "Give It All", compare that to "Drones", that to "The Dirt Whispered". then "Make It Stop"

Or easier, compare any song from The Unraveling to "Entertainment", "The Strength To Go On", "Midnight Hands", "Whereabouts Unknown", "Death Blossoms"

And their messages in the songs haven't wavered.

Next time, form your opinion into a logical sentence: "not nowhere near same sound"

  • @ThisIsNoise17 i say that because the music speaks for itself and i see rise agaisnt is a band that should no longer be classified as a hardcore punk band they followed the path of green day

  • @ThisIsNoise17 I am not saying that others can't enjoy them, and Strike Anywhere are good friends with the guys from Rise. Listen, I grew up on the sounds of Change is a Sound, and old Rise Against. The two bands, along with Thought Riot are my favorite bands. But lets be fair, you can totally understand why old fans could be dissapointed by their new album. I just saw them live about a year ago, they played Alive and Well, Tim pointed at me cause the 16s didnt know the song

  • @TheHooliganEyes You're one of the few people who can explain it in a way that makes sense. I get what you're saying. But of course, I'm not ignoring the change in their music style. And I'd prefer more albums like Siren Song and RPM, and Appeal To Reason is my least favorite album (good, just not amazing), but when Endgame came out, it was a huge relief, and I do feel like it was a perfection of their new style. Or a sort of blend between their new and old. Am I making sense?

  • @ThisIsNoise17 Rise Against definitely changed styles. I still like them, but not as much. I saw them a three years ago live and the drummer was hitting like a pussy.

  • @ThisIsNoise17 I agree that Rise Against is a great band (One of my favorites), but there is no denying that their musical style, has changed. This makes it easy for hardcore fans who liked the old Rise Against to dislike their newer albums which do have a more "pop-ish" feel to them. They lack the same aggressive, raw, punk sound from their older songs. They haven't changed the message, just the method.

  • @onecabnomad As a proud rise against fan, you have to understand that tims voice started to ruin and so they changed the music style so they could continue with their music, i mean he can still scream but not for so long as he used to be able to. Nevertheless they are a great band and always will be for they have effected so many lives, including mine.

  • @goalkeepin4life I completely agree, and I will continue to buy their albums as long as they keep making them.

  • seriously whats wrong with making money or being succesful? I mean I get it if you are a huge hypocrite and a capitalist but making a decent living by making music seems fine by me. Why do people get pissed off about it?

  • @XianisRoxify theres nothing wrong with making money or being successful; where i draw the line is when a band changes their music and their image to increase popularity. fuck that shit.

  • @thychaos good point.

  • @thychaos but there is all wrong when a so cal "punk" band is only trying to make money on making music, thats the issue

  • @WorldEnslaved yeah...did you actually read what i said? i said that people who are in it for the money or change their sound to get more popular disgust me. youre not stating anything new here.

  • discribe "real job" to me..

its not like they have a corprate job, or they work in a factory or, you know, have a "real" career outside of their music, or music related things...

  • Rise Against and Strike Anywhere are my fav bands along with Comeback Kid, A Wilhelm Scream, Anti-Flag, Inquisition (Tom's extinct band) and Set It Straight, in Punk/Hardcore music. Still the last two albuns by Rise Against are somehow weak, they are getting away from their hardcores roots, it's really a shame. Still love them all, long live this bands, they make my life meaningful.

  • rise against sucks, and the only reason strike anywhere can sit around and bitch like they do is because they get paid too.. otherwise they would have to grow up and join the rest of the world...

    just saying...

  • @phantommaggotxxx Actually guy, all of the members have to work real jobs when they aren't touring to make ends meet. I played a show with Strike Anywhere two years ago and they told me this and they say it on their site. People think they make a lot of money like anti-flag and such, they don't. Hence the working real when they aren't playing. It's their choice that they don't make their sole income off money and I respect them for that a lot. One of the most mature bands out there.

  • They always put up a kick ass show. Yeah they aren't as pure hardcore as they once were but whatever. Strike Anywhere is and always will be a big statement against all the politicians who rule this world!

  • @SinsofMen listen to Rise Against and Against Me! my dude... Particularly "From Heads Unworthy" (Rise Against) and "From Her Lips To God's Ears" (Against Me!)

  • @cdudeNYR I know the both of them but to me Strike Anywhere still stands above them ^^ Reviving the spirit of bands like Black Flag, Uk Subs and stuff :)

  • @SinsofMen dude hav u herd strike anywhere's new album its their hardest shit they ever made

  • @tarik237 Yes I did mate but I still find them different. Not saying it's bad or something, just different :)

  • this song would fit to a sonic game :)

  • @fatboymachinegun no it wouldnt. it wouldnt match the shittyness the games have. sorry to troll but sonic has been fucking awful since 2003(heroes)

  • @jsh020

hehe the vocal wouldn´t fit but the rest i think fits perfect. yeah you have right the newer sonic games aren´t to good think of unleashed :S oh men but back in the days sonic adventure 2 was my favorite one :)

  • @fatboymachinegun well i mean unleashed was ok. i think people overreacted about the night stages. also thinking back to adventure 1-3(heroes was originaly meant to be adventure 3) sonic has had so many ample opportunitys to just let amy die. he doesnt like her, the fans dont like her, no one in the cast likes her. JUST DO US A FAVOR AND DROP THE BITCH.

still pm if you wannacontinue this conversation caus ei dont think this is the place to be disscussing the subject

  • Fuck you rollajoint. I like Strike Anywhere but i love Rise Against.

  • Strike are beyond awesome, Inquisition were beyond awesome.

Rise against are a massive bag of dicks.

  • @rollajoint

Rise against is the greatest band in the world u motherfucking son of a bitch!

  • @KeinName14 Rise Against are for children and Yo Bro posers.

Fuck that shit man, its not about having someone run on stage then put your guitar over your shoulder so you can have a little wank on stage then having the same tech remove the guitar so you can continue to sing about how evil everything is.

That Tim bloke is such a massive dick.

  • @rollajoint lol another idiot running around, calling people posers.

  • saw these guys about 7 years ago during the Rock Against Bush tour, Anti-Flag was the headliner.

  • @truthaddict11 i saw that show. such a bad ass tour!!!!!!

  • IMO strike anywhere is better than rise against

  • @trustjab who cares whos better. they both are very similar and awsome. mabey thats wy theyv been touring with eachother for the past 2 years. hell if it werent for rise against shout out towards these guys would of never known about em

  • rise against sucks, strike anywhere rules

  • @kalebyay I hope your eternaly damned soul suffers a thousand times that of a typical sinner. How dare you disrespect Rise Against. btw: (strike anywhere is pretty dope)

  • now a huge fan of these guys, thanks to shane told of silverstein!:)

  • The mirror is everyone's doom.

  • wow I can't even count how many times I have listened to exit english when I was about 17.18 and I still love this....classic!!!

  • my mellow out band =) im glad i rememberd about them

  • matt smith is in senses fail now...i don't think he quit strike anywhere though...i think he's doing both

  • still hits like it use to in my teen years.

  • Wow. Blast from the past. Takes me back to when I used to be cool!

  • I'm here at work watching youtube videos ...XD

  • One time I saw a dude with red dreads walking down the street in Richmond and thought to myself "man, that dude looks like the guy from Strike Anywhere." Looking back, he probably was.

  • Strike is hc band for sure but melodic, not like Sick of it all or even Comeback kid. Stay positive!

  • nerdcore

  • These guys ROCK

  • Keith Morris is a fucking legend.

  • @the1077936128 wat dose this have to do with keith morris????

  • He does look like Keith Morris, but has a little bit better of a voice. No offense BF

  • @HardZuluf

I can see u are one hard guy....

  • @HardZuluf this is more hxc than u, listen the lyrics, strike anywhere are strike anywhere, so, listen sex pistols, this is the real punk of 80, this is the real hxc of 90's, btw the hxc and punk lost the original sense this last years, but strike anywhere have the tru sound and the idealism should be :D i think u are other little guys listening romatics lyrics in emohxcpunkmetalgaybunny bands get lost! ;D

  • @lovelyparis ....... This is a hardcore punk../watch?v=bfW7QZJDUbg ..not that gay's !!

  • Comment removed

  • @HardZuluf i fucking love doom

  • If I didn't know any better, I would say this is Keith Morris.

  • honestly youtube..... advertisments starting in the middle of the video.... not cool.....

put them at the beginning or at the end.....

you think irritating people will get them to give your sponsors money?

    douchebags

  • @rissx youtube doesnt make money off of people buying stuff from the advertisements you tard lol, they make money just by having people see the advertisements... clearly its a smart move by them.

  • @rissx you suck !!!

  • @rissx you give their sponsors money everytime an ad pops in your screen, thats how adSense works

  • @rissx 1. YouTube profits from simply having the ads, regardless of whether or not you click them.

    2. Download Firefox then get the Adblock addon.

  • @rissx get an adblock, Youtube needs to make money somehow and its not gonna change unless ur willing to pay to use youtube so just get a fucking adblock it's 2011! It takes 5 minutes and it saves us informed people from seeing that shit and reading u ignorant fucks' whiny comments bitching about ads so STFU and deal with the problem dont sit there bitching about it!

  • @rissx

wait, there used to be ads in the middle of a music video? haha. that's weird

  • @rissx try going into your settings and turning them off instead of bitching.

  • I like the song. Have been a fan since 99, or so. They were definitely better before th is album came out, though.

  • good memories with this song. smokin with some buds with this blaring on blazing summer days was the best.

  • i havent ever heard any music like this... exactly what i was lookin for:)

  • @metalheadjohnson

try Rise Against if you like it.

  • @woutvanzeeburg dude maybe their old stuff. Their new stuff sounds nothing like Strike Anywhere. Rise against went butt rock several years ago and deserve the bro crowd that surrounds them. Strike anywhere still has passion and a good following. You should check out smoke or fire or the flatliners if you like this band.

  • @woutvanzeeburg rise against is fucking legendary. songs from the EP from 2009 are alot like these guys

  • @woutvanzeeburg Nah, Rise Against is Hot Water Music for 12 year olds.

  • @TheRealJihadJoe RA kicks ass...

  • @xXRiiseAgaiinstXx If we are talking about Rise Against, their first 3 cd's were pure awsome. Later they quiet changed their style (cus of their label - Geffen or whatever it is). I'll wait for their new stuff if they break with their label and find independent one. And about the song. Fucking great :D

  • @Krysowski I liked tehir early stuff by far the best, but I still liked everything except for Appeal to Reason, that one sucked

  • @woutvanzeeburg I ike Rise Against and try it.. ;)

  • @woutvanzeeburg i try strike anywhere because im hearing rise against

  • @woutvanzeeburg try ignite

  • @metalheadjohnson hot water music too

  • @metalheadjohnson rise against, strike anywhere, but for rise against look up give it all, the good left undone, re-education, and prayer of the refugee

  • Good band. Good song. Lame video. So much see/say with the lyrics on screen. And kind of a rip off of Fenske's Van Halen "Right Now" music video.

  • Thumbs Up if your down for Discharge and From Ashes Rise! I know these guys are. D-beat or die!

  • shut up and listen

  • COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

  • so, i ecually listened to this song the first time.. and. ehh. i love it? ;D

  • fucking love this band til death do us part.

  • i listain to deathcore and death metal and i love this band

  • Does anyone think it is a bit weak having a debate about hair styles? Seriously. This band is awesome, forget about fashion!

  • MoOsHw, obviously you have not seen the influential punk band Bad Brains. They all have dreads and are Rasta. Check them out, seriously. songs like Re-ignition go down as "punk classics" for modern bands.

  • @akjesse47 haha, dude, i was totally listening to them 20 seconds ago!!!

  • SA> offspring
