I love the costumes, and the makeup especially. The sets are great! Have you never seen a production of cats that wasn't based off of the movie? I recommend checking out the Gothenburg version of cats. It's amazingly diffrent.

Plus for high schools doing this production, the elaborate sets and stuff is not always affordable. If anyone can make it happen, they should. You're right about CATS being creative.

People get tired of seeing the same thing...and even on stage things are different, the Australian version of Cats that just toured Asia and Australia is definitely different to the video version but it was absolutely brilliant! and Tugger has an amazing voice!!!!

Tugger is actually very famous... his name is JUSTIN NOZUKA... please look him up and if you like him, buy his album! He's not only an excellent singer, he's an exceptional person, which makes listening to his music all the better.
