Water resistant here should be taken with a grain of salt. I've been through two rainstorms with this (less than 5 minutes exposure to the rain), and the rain goes right through the zipper into the laptop section! Everything else is protected from water except your laptop.

@ninjamoby there is a separate raincover that can be bought, but i think it is poor design to have the most important item be unprotected in a product that advertises water resistance.

@RandomBostonFILMS Revolution? Yeah, I don't know. I like the material and color of the Revolution. Jet though is classic black nylon. Both have lots of pockets for stuff.
The Revolution comes in small and medium, while Jet is medium and large, so that may be a factor if you have a 13" or 17"
