I would say that Mad Ave hasn't figured out how to get to the mothers-that-happen-to-blog. Whose collective voice is 1) more authentic and 2) not-so-collective. If Mad Ave could get to us, I am sure they would.
Personally I am a mother that blogs and I prefer the term "Mommy Blogger". However, I do think its a generalization to say that all Mommy Bloggers haven't done a good branding job and are scattered and unorganized. They might be scattered and unorganized as they only have 2 minutes at a time to jump on the computer to make a post/comment about a brand. I think some Mommy Bloggers are positive and are quick to comment on brands they like and share it with thier social networks as well.
Thanks Joe
Also, not all "mommy bloggers" just blog about motherhood --but business, politics, relationships --and every other topic.
Perhaps, we could just shorten it to bloggers --segmenting this to every demogrpahic is key.
