It would then automatically create the exemption of not being forced to go against their beliefs one way or the other. This is the route I plan to do if I do decide to marry someone.

This is one of the major issues in relation of homosexual 'marriage' and the Church. The State would force the Church to marry someone whether they agreed with it or not with those bringing suit against the Church. Catholic Social Services, for instance, decided to close it adoption services in opposition to the State attempting to force the agency to adopt children to homosexuals. This is the second major issue the adoption of children, and what would be in their better interests.
I don't believe an exemption is given to individuals who wish to place their child up for adoption of what they would want or not want in regards to that - let alone the Church having any kind of respect in regards to an exemption in regards to what they want or not want to do. The State has already started to force people of righteous faith to fund abortion on demand now in regards to taxes which violates Constitutional rights to not accept or support this.

I want to make a correction on something I said incorrectly. Many will not go to heaven - which the Bible affirms - 90% of homosexuals will not go due to offensive and wicked behavior.

That's good to hear, and I sincerely wish that more churches were like yours, but I think we can both agree that they are not.
Say the churches who concentrated to pass prop 8. It's a good example as Rev. Jesse Jackson pointed out that the churches who rallied for it didn't care about other more important things to rally for.

not to jump into ur conversations there, but u need to understand, wen u say things about money towards camps and the like, things like that believe it or not, for this day in age, with the way society is, helps the youth that attend, so many find or experience God. i for one am one of them. its not stepping on anyones toes, regardless the 'cause' ppl are tryin to make a dent in this world with the resources they have. regardless how its done, u dont need a big name charity foundation

It doesn't really help youths that much, I myself have been to bible camp and really, nothing was done as we looked for "miracles of nature."
Became a pariah then, I asked too many questions and was never allowed to join anymore.

What cause is the money going toward? Is it to help the church with some bible camp initiative or is it going to the people of New Orleans who still needs help?
And no, I have no problem with religion, it is an idea, not an action. People who places there priority on an idea whose purpose isn't to help others when they need it, I have a problem with that.

I never alluded to what is human or what isn't, I'm suggesting that people who donates to churches rather than a better charity tend to care more for what happens to them in the afterlife than who is or who isn't getting fed.
And look to the Vatican if you want to see something so wasted in lavishing "God's name."
And no, I don't waste food, I cook for myself and my family because I do know it's wrong to waste, especially when we take from other living things and toss it away.

Hi Liynkx. All the facts about this case have not been revealed as of yet, and I'm seeing a lot of speculation-mostly geared as an act of someone against Christianity. The person who is the shooter is obviously deranged. Until all the facts are known as to why this person did what they did it is all speculation and nothing more. Personally I want to wait to hear what the police uncover concerning this - and not jump to the conclusion that the person was athiestic or rabid anti-baptist.

and the fact of the matter is, Abraham would have done it and was claimed to be virtuous.
More examples, Genesis 19:4-8 the first book clearly states that a person had to sacrifice his two daughters to a crowd of men trying to rape angels.
Exodus 31:14 anyone who works on the Sabbath must be put to death.

You quote the scripture talking about the death penalty, for not observing the sabbath. Not a human sacrifice. You started out claiming sacrifice of children occurred. The two are not related. Neither is there "sacrifice" of Lot's daughters. It says nothing about sacrifice in that passage. I read it. You use faulty reasoning.
You cannot argue by changing the parameters as you do. You are the one who needs to learn how to debate. Now, this is where the conversation ends.

You might be surprised to realize that the church actually preaches forgiveness for everyone. So, the congregation that watched their pastor murdered, may actually forgive the murderer of his insanity. It could only be an insane person, who thinks murdering another human being is, in any way, acceptable behavior. The only person hate and unforgiveness hurts is the person who has it in their heart! And I cannot judge whether he will rot in hell, or not! Sin is sin. It all can be forgiven.
