But Sindreforfaen... it is just my opinion... this video show only a part of the system, for sure they have more to say and to show, we only saw a little part. Of course it works. I don't understand too much about martial art but I know what I see... I See adaptation, I see good ideas and concepts. For sure it works. It reminds me a little wing chu revolution. But for sure, other stile, but very similar concepts. I like this russian style.

For sure a real opponent will not get a close range if he/she has a gun or a stick, gun knife... they will try to defeat you in large range. But If it happens (like in the metro) it will work.

@sindreforfaen I'm not happy with systema gun disarment... I think Krav uses better methods. What I can tell you from my experience is that if someone wants to shoot you and knows how, you won't be able to defend yourself in any system. There is no good knife defence and no gun defence at all with trained people.

As for systema you need to know how to take the principle of heavy and relaxed punch and to modify it for streetfight so it looks like box but its a systema punch. Fedor did that.
