The only other version of this song that i really enjoyed was by HIM. But it's because they didnt try to match Chris Isaak, they made it their own way. I have yet to see anyone really do justice to Chris's masterpiece. Nina is talented in her own way, that is obvious.

it doesnt have to go quickly, its a live acoustic version where shes making a true connection without any worry of time constraints. so i think most people would think its going at a very intimate and beautiful pace. She picks it up at certain points but at other points she slows down because she has a strong emotional connection to the lyrics. its a great cover

This is an incredibly different, bluesy interpretation, and frankly, it's powerful. It's simply not the same song as Isaak's. It's a variation, an interpretation with entirely different emotion. She's got a lovely voice, the mood is -completely- different, and, yes, while 'everyone and their mom' has a WG cover, some of them happen to be amazing. Nova. Bassboosa. Jette-Ives.

Look for the good ones; ignore the rest. I'm adding Nina to this list of rare great ones.

I miss the band, i think that this gilr has a lot of power in her voice to make a soft version, with a band she would sound much better... Chris Isaak can make it work because he is a soft singer, but Nina shoud try something stronger. Drums, electric guitars, more sound for her!!!. Soft music is for sotf singers. Maybe if she put more air in the words to make it softer, but i like strong vocals so. Thats my opinion.

Holy Shit. Very Very Very Very Nice Cover. The emotion in her voice was amazing! Now, I must admit, I usually prefer male vocals and guitars for a "Wicked Game" cover, but I'll be damned if this wasn't one of the most evocative versions I've heard. The lack of guitar was a little glaring at first for me, but the sheer power of her voice blew it away and the guitar didn't seem to matter anymore.
