Law & Order: UK Opening with US Theme

As much as I enjoy the original theme, I think changing it really loses what the UK version of Law and Order really is :T Still, it's good to hear the old theme again :)

The music is very good but it doesn't fit with the editing. The titles would need a complete makeover to get the cuts to coincide with the musical phrases.

I personally love both of the openings. The american version of the theme is very iconic, much the the COPS theme has unchanged in its entire series run. But I like the UK version as well. So i have no preference over the other. They are both good in their own right.:)

Nice to see that Martha Jones went into criminal law after hanging with The Doctor and kicking Sontarin potato head butt.

But seriously, BBC America is going to start showing L&O:UK in October, and after seeing the opening credits, I am even more interested in checking it out.

Would love to see a L&O:LA/L&O:SVU/L&O:UK crossover episode arc.

I'm such a fan of the original L&O theme. The one for the UK show just sounds a bit too dramatic "here we come to save the day" sort of thing.

@Emgee78 Totally. It's like the theme song for the 17th member of the Justice League after every other superhero has gotten his own movie. Washing-Up Boy Begins or some nonsense. With some Dynasty night-time-soap thrown in for good measure. Ech.

MUCH better. I watched it for the first time the other day and was REALLY dumbfounded that they've given it such a bland theme. The original explains why it's been a long running show in the States.
