You'd also think he might have mentioned to someone that he thought his wife tried to kill him, or something to that effect, instead of taking responsibility for the incident and covering the whole thing as an "accident". I think people are always going to blame Courtney for Kurt's death, to one degree or another.

He just wasn't contacting anyone by phone. If he was "hiding", he was doing it in plain sight. The cops and P.I. just made mistakes and fumbled their attempts to locate him. Dylan has said he didn't think Kurt was suicidal, but he also said he doesn't believe Kurt was murdered...

It has also been suggested, by certain toxicologists, that Kurt would have eventually died from the amount of morphine in his system. @Sukkiyakki My point was that it doesn't really make sense that Kurt was "in hiding" from who he (supposedly) thought were potential murderers. He was seen at his his home, and all around Seattle. He just wasn't contacting anyone by phone. If he was "hiding", he was doing it in plain sight. The cops and P.I. just made mistakes and fumbled their attempts to locate him. Dylan has said he didn't think Kurt was suicidal, but he also said he doesn't believe Kurt was murdered...

Not even Tom Grant has made any such claims. The rest of Kurt's guns were confiscated by the SPD in March of 94, during the domestic disturbance that Courtney called in. Kurt had Dylan buy the shotgun for him because he didn't want the weapon in his name.

It has also been suggested, by certain toxicologists, that Kurt would have eventually died from the amount of morphine in his system. @Hotice770- (continued) Like All Apologies is miles away from something like Radio Friendly Unit Shifter. No other band of that time could claim to have such originality as Nirvana. You're not winning this argument kid, Nirvana would CLEARLY still be popular if they had continued. Or Kurt would have. He was too important. He was dubbed 'the voice of a generation' before he died, people like that don't just fade away. He was hardly a one hit wonder.

@piemakesmelol You can't be a 1 hit wonder with 2 hit albums. I said he wouldn't be popular today and I stand by it. 95% of huge artists from his time are gone. Whitney Houston as huge when Nirvana was huge, she was deemed the best singer of all time. Now she's gone. Tori Amos gone. Hell even REM who were MASSIVE in the 90's haven't had a hit in over a DECADE so they broke up. Face it, it is a different time. So Dave is the one big rock band left, that doesn't have anything to do with Kurt.

@Hotice770- Whitney Houston is gone because people need to stop making music at a certain age. At the end of the day everyone still knows who Whitney Houston is. She's hardly forgotten about. Paul McCartney hasn't had a hit in years do you consider him "gone"? No. REM again have always been a big band, just because YOU don't pay attention to them doesn't mean the rest of the world hasn't. And FF success has EVERYTHING to do with Kurt. If not for Kurt Dave wouldn't even be famous.

@piemakesmelol Once again I never ever ever said Kurt would be forgotten about? When did I say that? I said he wouldn't be successful NOW in today's market. Just like REM who were huge at a point and now haven't had a hit in over a decade, or the others I mentioned. It proved my point that just because you were huge for a time, or huge in the 90's, doesn't mean your success can last for decades.

@Hotice770- Actually you did. You keep saying Nirvana wouldn't be as popular, and you're constantly saying they would end up like Pearl Jam/Eddie. What you said about Eddie was "Had eddie died, he'd be an icon too. But he stuck around and now he is just forgotten." So you're suggesting the same thing would happen to Kurt. You still can't differentiate between Nirvana and everyone else, they were different. That's why they're remembered. Jeff Buckley died when he was popular, he's not an "icon".

When people die at the peak of their genius, Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, Kurt Cobain etc that's when they become an icon because their genius is cut short. @cherrybombx27 Not to mention she is REALLY talented. Say whatever the fuck you want about her behavior (though I like her) her album "Pretty on the inside" was fucking amazing and the best female rock record ever IMO. She can scream like no other woman in rock, she plays guitar, made great song and was the epitome of a badass rock chick.

@cherrybombx27 lol i always ask that to the clove-haters on here. my theory is that they are drawn to her and infatuated with her just like us fans are, but they just can't admit it. there's no other explaination for watching videos of her over and over and commenting on them. i think it's hilarious. they all say the same thing "what a dumb drug addict murderer! talentless whore!" you start to wonder if they read a script. her fans, however, are smart and refreshing i've found.
