I don't understand why people think this game is shit. I own the game, I've been playing it for a couple weeks now and I am still happy with my purchase. It is a great game where you are put into real military scenarios. You control your fireteam and decide how "YOU" want to carry out your objectives. The only sad part about the game is that you can't choose your class in single player campain and I wish that each mission you start out flying into the island in the helecopter and get droped off.

all of the trajectory is in this game. Bullets, granade shrapnel, mortars is as exact that any game can offer. Modern Warefare does not use knives but percision and gernades dont blow up as big as people think. gernades most lethal feature is the small pieces it spreads which travel at a piercing speed.

Great big island but what Codemasters doesn't tell you is the game limits you to small areas with invisible walls that you can't go beyond or you die.

This has been confirmed on the CM forums.

And get this... There is a tether. you CAN'T move more then 275m from any of your teammates or you die.

Say bye bye to playing sniper covering your teammates from far away..

Say bye bye to flying a attack helicopter

and providing air support...

it's free roam in singleplayer missions

You get a warning with a time limit to get back to the 275 if you have to go that far away then you really don't get squad fighting.

OFP is HIGH on CPU power, and the PS3 does have more to scale things with.

Plus if you ever decide you dont want to pay to play online the PS3 is always free

Well... these days most of the games are producing FOR the consoles, and then porting to the PC, i dunno why, maybe because of the pirates, like, PC games peeps usually dl from the torrents and not paying, on a consoles u can't do that, otherwise u will be banned in xbox live for example, so u won't be able play MP and use all the features, so, it's all about selling/markets, not because of where it would look better.

And just to answer all of you who are intrested in this game, and think it looks great, and really wonders why the smoke just disappears: The e3 showcase was speeded up, and the smoke will hang in the air for about 50 seconds before its fully gone. Reload animations is not 100% complete, and they are working on re-recording the voices.

The game was supposed to be released last month and all we've had is disingenuous target render screenshots and FMV videos. The real gameplay footage has only just started to leak and it's not surprising they've been hiding it for so long.
