This man sounds like only Thomas Quasthoff can sound - a star in any singer's universe. I first came across him in a broadcast of Fidelio on Sky Arts over Christmas. He is phenomonal and, having experienced his scatting, also a very very perceptive musician.

Cant honestly think he sounds at all like Fischer Dieskau -  the tone colour he produces is more like John Shirley Quirk than anyone if one had to say he "sounds like" but is a most unique and great artist
