Very cool, but not virtual reality nor is it a projection screen.
I would be concerned about the reliability of it. We all know how bad the software was on the LR3/RRS and LR2 when they first were released.

@derbigpr500 Have you ever owned a land rover? Let's use a P38 Range Rover: The radio, HVAC, and info center screens are crap in those. Additionally, the BeCM computer is known for having its backup battery's corrode and leak battery acid onto the circuit board. Wouldn't have happened if they put the batteries underneath the circuit board. Land Rovers quality of the most basic things are unfortunately garbage. Let's hope Tata can turn LR around in the right direction. BMW and Ford haven't.

another piece of high-tech equipment that will probably go wrong someday. when it does break, you won't even know how fast you are going or how much petrol you have left in the tank. cool thing to have, but i rather have the old style indicator lights and dials.

my 1995 continental has a virtual display i just found that out when i accidentally put my hand over the little projector hole and saw my shadow over the gauges thought it has nothing on this

dude the car will just stop if it goes wrong because i think whole system is connected. well in most mordern cars. everything is controlled by ECM!.
i don't think it can fail that easily!
