israeli militarists are controlling the root cause of the conflict: occupation. attacks from both sides on innocents are wrong, but are not equally condemnable. palestinians have this situation forced on them by brutal oppressors, it is truly sad to see this palestinian driven to such measures and sad to see innocents killed; but it is more understandable and less condemnable than israeli terrorism and random acts of violence, given the situation forced on him by aggressive oppressors.

there is no such thing as a moral equivalency in these types of killings. all killings should be condemned, even the killing of the bulldozer driver who was executed by israeli civilians who could have easily pulled the injured man out of the bulldozer, but chose to be an executioner instead. these people should be brought up on murder charges, but hypocritical and immoral israeli society allows widespread abuses of palestinians.

i was speaking generally, that the injustices are inflicted on palestinians by a US/israeli occupying force. killings of innocents and hatred coming from sufering and occupation are crimes, but are being produced from the suffering being inflicted on them.

while both killings are condemnable, they have different motivating factors and are not morally equivalent. the palestinian situation has been created by a reaction to US/israeli injustice, while US/israeli killings are to promote that injustice. the US/israeli killings are in this sense, more condemnable and less logically understandable. US/israel could end the root cause of both types of killings: occupation, but choose to promote both types of killings, they have a larger moral wrong.

would you say that an israeli tank killing children is just as cowardly as this bulldozer attack... no. the israeli tank driver is in no danger of death, while this person knew he would certainly die at the hands of armed civilians who apparently have the legal right to execute palestinians who commit criminal acts and then celebrate about it.

US/israeli killings of innocent palestinians are also crimes, but are coming from a need to impose oppression on other people and to justify the crimes they have already committed in order to steal the lives and land that innocent people need to live off of.
