the ppl in my town said they dont want us garbage men scrapping on there time i guess so i end up throwing away alot of valuable metals and antiques and all types of things that shouldnt be thrown away it sux but we never dug threw like this but im sure theres a reason there doing this . they couldnt stop at every house and waste 3 minutes on one stop .theres to much garbage to look at every piece of paper you come by

I get poked or cut I rip em to make sure its not a needle because there is alot of people who just throw it in the trash. That is so fucked up! I have a family to go home to please don't let me take aids or something home with me use a Sharpie container! And I don't have no kind of lift or anything. I lift every can and every bag! 13 to 15 hours a day! 15 to 29 tons 50 lbs at time. We work really hard and everyone seems to hate us! So on behalf of me and my fellow throwers FUCK YOU PEOPLE!

@TwinsOnYaChin : im with ya i have the same problems only i throw for around 8 hours a day and 15 tons maybe 17 tops aday and you dont see enough thowers these day. we have the only trucks in my area with no lifts . its juat a regular back loader with man power behind it lol but i have to worry becuase theres alot of herion addicts around here in jersey . throw it in a soda can atleast!

I make thousands of dollars a year off of gold I find! Thousands of dollars in copper! All together I probably make 10k off of shit you dumb asses throw away and I've never taken any kinda of personal item like ATM cards or ss # so that is why I do it but I have to say I don't sit there and dug threw it like them!

We dont usually rip the bags open unless we think theres yard waste or construction in them or if we suspect that someone else is putting their garbage in with yours then we will look for your mail to find an address and trust me we bust alot of people each year doing this!!!

Yeah we own a garbage buisness and once it hits the back of our truck its our property, and trust me i find ALLLLLLLLL kinds of nice shit!!! Heck just found my girlfriend a Chanel Handbag the other day!!! Lets just say she was happy!!! lol

@firewacker432 We own a garbage buisness and once it hits the back of our truck its our property and we can do what we want with it and we tell our workers anything they find they can keep!!! Another mans garbage is another mans treasure!!! hah And its better than keep something that works just fine than to fill our landffills with it!!!

this is actually a very common thing for garbagemen to do! people throw a lot of really good stuff away, particularly in the nicer neighborhoods! it amazes me how wasteful sum ppl are! btw i am a garbageman so i speak from experience. : )

Ive see this happen before, but never in seen them go through it so meticulously. Dont forget to shred your recyclables too. Your recycled paper goes through many hands at the recycling center.
