can i answer all of the wrong answers... hehhe... it's a hadhrami folksong... n the singer's Indonesian... but originally hadhrami... Indonesia has like 15 million origin Hadhrami descendants there (including me)... n for u samia... i think u have to go to indonesia or ask ur indonesian friends if any to bring them these kinda cd/vcd/cassette.. there are millions of it in Indonesia...

well if u count from the 16th century... the very first generation that married the locals... and then the 4th and few other generations that basically went to south east asia for the trade and sex(marriage)... from that time up to today... most of em has already lost their family name though they actually are of a hadhrami descent.... the one that still can count their descendant must've been staying in indonesia for no less than the late of 19th century :-)
