You guys are just a pool of knowledge aren't you, if the microSIM cost about $10, why would you pay $36 to get a machine that converts the old sim (with a chance of breaking it, or completing the process wrongly) when you could just BUY A microsim, and use a $5 SIM transfer machine to transfer everything from your old sim, to you new one?

@martinjabou94 Because the old contract had an unlimited data roaming plan which they got rid off with the 4G. Now you have a choice between 200Mb for 15 bucks or 2GB for 25 bucks a month. Now unless you like going though a long chat with an AT&T rep on the phone to get your unlimited on your 4G, like I had to do, then this is the way to go. Inform your own "Pool of knowledge" before you try to say something informative or smart.

@martinjabou94 because Orange here in UK won't let me get a microsim unless I pay an extra £10 a month on top of my contract as it isn't a iPhone plan I'm on, so I either pay £10 month extra for the 1st month and then drop back down to my normal plan or just buy a £6 cutter that comes with an adapter to normal sim, if anything goes wrong, I'll just ring up Orange and get a normal sim, simple.
