@easterlingman No, it's garbage! Shows like 'Cheers' and 'Seinfeld' finished when they were still amazing, so their legacy remains unspoilt. Sadly, Fox won't allow 'The Simpsons' to end with dignity, hence the continual degrading of the show, and the distortion of formerly amazing characters like Homer. The Homer of today is a pathetic shadow of the Homer of yesteryear, having undergone almost as tragic a transformation as those sellout whores Metallica.

They have completely sold out and IMO have destroyed the brilliant work they once did. @Abyss0147 I think it's actually pretty easy to create a new show. It's just that the first season can't be like fucking Family Guy and focus just on jokes, you have to tell stories that are proper for the characters. Look at the first season of the Simpsons which was more story-based than joke based. Eventually they merged the two styles and it became amazing. That said, we have the first season to thank.
@Buttersbot2 I'll agree that it's not nearly as good as the old days, but if we're on the topic of cancelling shows, I'd rather Fox cancel one of the many stupid Seth McFarlane shows before they cancel the Simpsons.
