I know this may sound cheesy but Amy is alive in us, she lives through her music. There are only a handful of singers that can still touch our hearts even in death and Amy is one of them :) I will never forget her and as soon as my children are old enough i will introduce Amy's music to them too..

At first i didnt like it probably because im too much of a jazz purist. Then i realized that some kid is probably going to look up other versions of this song, and then realize that its a jazz standard, and then likely start listening to more jazz, all because she did this. Its these things that i am in no way against.

Whether you liked her music or not, let ther be no doubt: this girl was one absurdly talentet person. The best thing about her though, is the fact that she was such a genuin artist and performer. She was the real deal. I think that's kinda rare in todays music scene, at least if we're talking popular music. No autotune crap, no lip-synching crap, just pure performance. Amy the performer, is the Amy i will remember. It is sad it all went downhill as it did, but lets hold on to her musical legacy.
