by the way... me and my hubby cried when we reached your video about Patience (we are animal lovers too) a little silly but your video was so sad and god she was so friggin cute!
Me and my hubby watched your whole series last night from beginning to end on our tv lol. We are 25 and 28 and we are going to be selling our house and hitting the road soon too. We live in ontario and are heading out to alberta, but gotta do some renos first before we go. You guys make awesome videos and we loved watching your journey! Keep posting videos!! You guys are awesome and we respect you so much for keeping such a positive attitude through all your struggles and following your dreams!
Have you looked into Zazzle? I started a store a few months ago and while it is a long way from providing good income others make a living with it. I'm mostly using photos but have some art in my pieces - It could be a good fit for you. go to zazzle dot com and search for macmedia
It is free trade that ruins it for you guys. You should cut the internet cables to India. Then you would not have to compete with people who does not make any money and do not have your living expenses.
on a side note, don't waste time with odesk, freelancer or what not...focus on affiliate marketing! I've just started w/Amazon and things are going good for now. While the commission is not that huge, I'm making money on 'volume'...got my goals set for $10K Gross monthly but have a ways to go! Feel free to contact me if this sounds interesting!
Hey guys...came across your vids the other night and really like your vids! It's great to hear that you're wanting to do work online, which is what I do as well, and live the good life on the road! Look forward to seeing more vids!
I'm going to buy a trailer by jan 2012 too. Tired of the rat race and paying crazy rent prices for crap in San Diego. Would like to link up with like minded people to rv together for seefty sake. email me
One reason when I was looking for an RV I didn't look at Bounder's was because they are GM powered. My dad had a Southwind and the engine completely fell apart on it's own from being parked and not driven. The intake and exhaust manifolds developed leaks all on their own... he only got to drive it one season. It was a 454 engine.
Just flushed the transmission fluid out of my (newly bought) RV. I drained the pan, removed the pan and installed a new filter, and drained the torque converter. All new fluid ... 5 gallons worth of Mercon V : ) Also changed the fuel filter (could hardly blow thru the old one.. it needed it!!) .. cleaned the MAF and throttle body... changed to the PROPER weight motor oil (5w30) and calibrated the dipstick (since Ford doesn't!)
@cyrus10112 Took a 200 mile trip and had a tire blowout on the freeway! One of the rear tires. Ended up taking out all the supporting metal around the wheel well, the plastic holding tank cover, mud flap and ripped some wiring.
I checked all tires and pressures too before we left. It's very destructive when you have a tire blow out on an RV!!!!
I really enjoy your videos and think you will make some money doing them later down the road so keep it up. Fulltiming is my dream as well in a couple years. HOpe to see you down the road!
we are in the exact same mode you guys are in ...bounder and all except we are in Pa and the winter weather is coming and we are still trying to save and sell our old travle trailer and van...Goood luck hope to see u on the road....
Hope the best for ya'll ..You can't get where you want to be without taking the first step. Good thing is you have been there once so you know where your headed. I'm headed down to southwest Alabama for the winter ,,,, stop by and say hi .....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good for you for quitting your job! You do have to MAKE things happen you know? That comfort and tiredness you talk about leads to the same ol' same ol' everyday. Which is why people get burnt out in their relationships, jobs and life. Mu husband and I are in a VERY similar situation too with the jobs/camper/debt/ and getting new things going. Good luck to all us motivated dreamers!
What s the plan? Any updates
