dear schmidt, eat my dick. the band in this vid formed for a one-off benefit cover show, it is not a regularly "gigging" "cover band." every single member in this band is also a member of one or more active punk or hardcore bands that write their own songs and do their own thing. nobody is "dressing up." we do what we want. i'm sorry you are so bummed by the idea of punk kids having fun in 2010 and are wasting your time berating us from your internet high horse. go get fucked.
Who would have thought back in the eighties that one day there would be a hardcore-equivalent of those cheesy retro-bands hardcore-punks used to laugh about (for good reason) ... now they don't have the teddy boys' quiff and they don't sing with that Elvis-vibrato; what you get instead are kids dressing up like it's 1982 all over again and trying to duplicate the hardcore sound of the Reagan-years as accurately as possible ...
