I wonder as I listen to this, rather sincere, rendition of Yesterday if when watching the Ed Sullivan show in 1964, Ol' Blue Eyes was thinking "hey - I'm going to be covering their songs by the end of the decade" or if he was thinking "they'll be history before I eat my breakfast tomorrow." OR - if any of the parents were thinking "I'll take my Frank Sinatra records, over these four long-hairs - thank you very much!"
Yesterday, Jack. All my koo koo troubles seemed so far away, Clyde. Now it looks as though they ain't splittin', baby! Hey, Jilly, break yesterday's legs!
what the fuck is this? okay frank did it before the fuckin beatles, and marvin GAY so stfu and gtfo. LEAVE FRANKIE ALONE lol. this is kind of a joke so please dont take this up the butt. like some people will. lol ^_^
@rasnac ... No. They are too different. The only reason I come close to tears listening to this song, is because I feel sorry for Franky, not because of the song itself.
@verixbest This is my first time listening to Frank's version and it is pure genious. It's as if he is singing about a lost love in his own life and you can feel his sadness. Compared to Frank, other singers just seems like amateurs.

Non ci posso credere anche il grande Frank rende omaggio a Paul McCartney. Convengo nuovamente che paul era il genio dei 4.
