@tsaiyana Do you have vista or xp? You should already have a video editing program called Windows Movie Maker. It's pretty good when it comes to doing simple cuts and trims with some transitions.

@tsaiyana Ahh cool, all you need to do is look for a program called Windows Movie Maker. Once you do that you will be able to edit your videos and make them pro looking and stuff. There are hundreds if not thousands of videos on how to use Windows Movie Maker.

@cupcakestalkers I Do believe the program can do it for you, but I never really used it. I always used a program like Sony Vegas to put them on a dvd and play it in a dvd player or computer.

The site name is cnet, and no you don't have to download the site to download these applications, Just head over to cnet and click the download tab, then type in the program name into the search bar, and then you should see a list of applications, then pick the right one you want =-D that easy.

Could be that the bitrate is too high, set it lower. or it might be the video it self is messed up or something. Send me the video you're trying to convert here on youtube, and I'll download it and I'll tell you all the settings I used.

Well that will depend on what kind of dvds your computer can play. There a different number of dvds that different computers can play. You'd have to look into your computer or dvd player.

The best dvd format would be R+ - and the video format that's the best is wmv and Avi

Ok, it depends. Are you using any video converter? well if you're using that one, go over to the bottom right and set the Video Framerate to 30. that should solve your issue. =)
