you're too damn nervous...why do this to yourself? and there's no growl in your voice...no one on the planet can make this song rock but Courtney. and it sounds like you have an accent? in singing (i'm a singer) you use your stomache muscles and really project. you have a NICE voice, it just does not work with this song.
hm, nice voice, but to thin-like the hole "performance"- it's sad you even need to read the lyrics....this is what everybody does in his car while listening to the radio while a longer journey, or? even in the shower it would be better ,at least a capella and only you, do you really need the recorder????
Oh I do hate to be hateful but, constructive criticism is better than nodding my head in false agreement. Umm, sing it without Courtney's vocals. I mean anyone can sound good when blended with a superstar.
I do guess vocalizing with her is still some level of skill. But I'd respect this more if she wanted singing most of the track for you. Plus when she got raw & broke her voice you got higher & purer... Rather backwards. So either take up smoking or sing a pretty song filled with pretty notes.
