I love Pop(one of my favorite albums of all time).But I now understand why so many hated it.It was one of the most jarring visual image switches a major band ever did.The giant lemon;Bono's random boxer's sweatsuit;The Edge's gay cowboy getup;Adam Clayton's "Boogie Nights" type stuff...it distracted from the excellent music maybe too much.

I definitly think Pop is their way best album, a grand metaphor about globalisation of occidental society and the death of its culture. However i don't really like this version of the song with those pre-recorded crowd noises.
