  • Did somebody say [Thunderfury, Bless blade of the Windseeker]?

  • note... some skills required

  • thats very nice! but what do you use to paint the card?

  • awesome work. so here are my questions.

Where do you get your supplies, what kind brands/types of colors do you mean, are the cards still legal to play in tournament if they are sleeved?

  • @aloehart199

you can get these colors from any games workshop store /or maybe online these cards are still legal but you should ask your judge before just in case. Also if you going to try altering cards, take care so the color is not to thick.

  • Damn, You German bro?

    Nice Alter!!!

  • @MrPersonPPL

    Haha, yeah, thanks :)

  • now it gets +1/+1 if you control an island also.bloody zoo deck.

  • The video is a little hard to watch because of all the changing colors in the background, also that the card is foil too. I was hoping for a simple tutorial vid where everything going on in the vid was clear and consise.

Thanks for posting this vid at all though, I learned a bit by watching it.

  • The fact that a non-English language card was used which only modified the name of the card from Wild Nacatl to Wilder Nacatl makes this great alteration even more EPIC!

  • @SiliconSicilian

    haha thanks!

  • @SiliconSicilian Prettttty Bossss

  • what kind of paint?

  • @FuckwithinaLifetime

    Warhammer Paint :)

  • i do know this video is old but i wonder how much would you charge to change the picture from brainstorm to one with jace beleren in it like the one from lay bare i just hate the chick from brainstorm she looks weird and it freaks me out

  • @KyoXlp

uh, dunno how much i would charge but i doubt i could find the time to do it right now :/

  • thats thunderfury and Shadowmorne correct?

  • @kardiez

I thought it was Soulcalibur and Soul Edge

  • wouldn't the paint stand out from the ink? as in if i wanted to paint the border the same environment as what's in the picture (in this case it's a forest for the nacatl)

  • what brand of paint do you use? is there a specific type of paint to use for this?

  • @smurf1130 The paint is from Games Workshop. It is water acrylic-based so as to not harm the card.

  • Awesome Job!!! Thats really cool. You have talent!!! :)

  • tht was pretty cool never thought of using Warhammer paints!!

  • omg i wish i could do that damm.you good.

  • Es ist Geil!!!

  • @asoudoufou

    Freut mich :)

  • Are altered cards like this one legal on FNMs? I wonder if I can play like this too ;P

  • song?? sry if its in the description for some reason i cnt read them

  • @gladier1

    UNKLE - Lonely Soul

its written in the video :).

  • how much does this card cost, im just wondering because it looks so damn gooooood

  • @BaneslayerAngel95

i dont sell these, but i think it would be about 3-8 bucks if i would :).

  • @nJust1ce what kind of brush is that? it looks like the bristles are stiff. and what kind of consistency is the paint? for trying out alters im going with a border extension just using whatever acrylic paints i have on hand on a random common, so i can practice.

  • wowwwwww awsome. what kind of paint do you use?

  • can i buy some from you like maybe a play set of them !!!

  • Would have looked a lot better on a non-foil. Great job though. Interesting use of water-based paints instead of the perennial acrylic for card altering.

  • i spy...with my little eye..0.THUNDERFURY, BLESSED BLADE OF THE WINDSEEKER.THUNDERFURY, BLESSED BLADE OF THE WINDSEEKER.THUNDERFURY, BLESSED BLADE OF THE WINDSEEKER.THUNDERFURY, BLESSED BLADE OF THE WINDSEEKER.THUNDERFURY, BLESSED BLADE OF THE WINDSEEKER.THUNDERFURY, BLESSED BLADE OF THE WINDSEEKER.THUNDERFURY, BLESSED BLADE OF THE WINDSEEKER.THUNDERFURY, BLESSED BLADE OF THE WINDSEEKER.THUNDERFURY, BLESSED BLADE OF THE WINDSEEKER

  • So you play WoW and 40k?

  • are those legal?

  • Awesome job!! I've never actually seen an arted foil.

  • I'll take four! :D Awesome job.

  • @misctube

    and i got four :p

  • i get the feeling that this would work better on a non-foil card (mostly because the paint wouldn't stand out as much).

nice job though. i'm actually kinda tempted to do this myself with some of the cards i know i'll never sell.

  • @purklefluff Actually, I think that it works better. If you notice, the paint sticks out as much as the non foil part of the creature. At least that is how I see it. I think on a non foil the pain would stick out more in an obnoxious way where it would be and obvious addition.

  • i have a question. on salvation, i see alot of people who scrape the preexisting colors and borders off, how is this achieved?

  • @generalpk07 use either Acetone on a clean cloth, or a standard Sanford brand Magic Rub eraser (about 99 cents). just tape off the areas to divide what you wanna get rid of and what you wanna keep and youre all set.

  • I think magic should make the cards like this , it looks way better

  • show off

    lol nice drawing dude

  • does any one know of a plains card with a zebra in the picture please message me if you do

  • @rajeeb34

Mirage - Plains 3 Card #308 by Tom Wänerstrand

  • I 2nd that even I don't like foil cards.

  • nice sig at the end

  • You use Warhammer paint?

  • @omfgSTEPHH

    yes i do

  • @nJust1ce doesn't the card "curl" because of the paint?

Will my card need some hard kind of sleeve when it was painted?

  • @crazymarf

No, the color on the card dries in just a few seconds... so you dont need to worry about it, it will not curl.

    to your second question:

you can play with these cards like with every other card. Use normal Dragon Shield Sleeves or something similar and you are fine. and your card too :)

    hope i could help

    cheers

  • hey great job!! i just have a cuestion...what was that "Bleached Bone" you used?

    again good job!

  • @XianGarMed thanks :)

what exactly do u mean with " what was that "?

  • I have the world first Mage with Thunderfury. I would really like to have a Nacatl with Thunderfury too! Please let me know if I could buy that one or if you could work on one of mine. I have foils and regular ones. Please let me know! Thanks.

  • Eh, I hate foil cards, especially the white and artifact ones.

  • @maglad I hate my foil WHITE baneslayer :(

    -.-

  • @mcfunk02 Dude, it's a furry.

  • Wow, was it your intention of drawing the sword "Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker"?

It's a legendary sword in World of Warcraft. Looks identical. Google it, for those who don't know what I'm talking about.

Either way, it looks awesome! :D

  • Actually, at the end of the video I realize it could be nothing else BUT Thunderfury :)

    Good job.

  • yeah it is thunderfury,i did 4 wild nacatls and on each she is wearin wow weapons;)

  • What was the offhand sword? It was hard to figure out... clearly it was Thunderfury though.

  • what kind of brushes are you using?

  • niemals nie nich!!!!

  • but one needs to be skilled do do that

  • hmm, i had some difficulties to focus on all the stuff you used. can you write a list like : - OFC colors - fine brush

    etc. ? ^^'

thx, and congrats for the alter!

  • Well, as one who is quite ignorant on the categorization of paints, I'm not sure what you meant by OFC paint colors. Thanks, your work is great.

  • oh yeah -> of course.

and i use Warhammer Acryl colors if u wanted to know :)

  • Thanks dude.

  • may i buy your altered nacatl? ^^

  • Where can I get some Ufc paint?

  • what exactly do u mean?! Oo

  • your a sick human being... amazing artist thanks for this demo ive been looking so long

  • cool

  • Great music. Great alter. Great everything! I especially liked the part when you showed the paint and it fell =P

    Good job!

  • Thanks for your comment :)

Well, i keepd it very simple and easy to understand, so ive showd what u need and how you may paint :) i think thats all what u need to understand how this is going on :)

  • Not a really a tutorial but great looking ;D
