Failed. The separations made sank the 3D effects deeper into the screen instead of popping it out. You have to figure out how how to shift the reds and cyans.

@Narcomics This is just two videos interlaced. The effect your talking about requires changing the perspective of differentiating the foreground and background images, a task much more complex than what's done here. You really think someone on youtube is going to bother with doing that??

I hate how they dumb down this movie for the masses. For instance, when the developer is talking about what they are mining he talks to the lead scientist as though she had no idea why they were on the planet. And who can forget "it looks like they're planning some kind of SHOCK and AWE campaign!!"

@rajulkumar100 there are tutorials on youtube on how to watch these video's cross-eyed. you're watching cross eyed when you have both eyes looking at the tip of your nose , train it and try to put 2 images on top of eachother. it's hard at the beginning , but look for a youtube tutorial. it's nice :)

is this trailer a real 3d trailer because I used the glasses that I got from the movie theater. It's clear real D 3D glasses. i put them on and it's just a 2d blurry image. where can i find a real 3d avatar trailer?

@henf5671 A those real 3d glasses only work on polarized screens like in the movie theathers and B this 3d is cross eyed no need for glasses just cross your eyes until you see a third picture in the middle

There is a way for this to look in 3d to work. It's called crossed eye 3d. Search Google.
