  • Mmmhh...Flammed sausages....

  • now someone take a big stick and hit it!!!!!

    call it art

  • have you considered adding a steam boiler to the exhaust with a small steam line blowing on the exhaust turbine . It would cool the exhaust turbine and add a little power from the wasted heat?

  • That turbo must be durable as hell to be able to withstand that kind of heat. the nozzle on that looks too small and may be causing the extremely high EGT. The combustion chamber is looking to be way to small also...

  • what fuel did you use?

  • mylanta.... the oil coming from the turbo is so hot..... asking for catastrophic failure running her that hard

  • what type of fuel that jet engine use ???

  • @MONAGEORGES it can probably run on almost any fuel you give it, as long as you keep the air fuel ratio between the LFL and UFL of the fuel in question, and you get the flame tube hot enough.

  • hurry hurry , spray with water !!!!

  • amazing

  • hmm, i smell dead turbo

  • ITS GOING TO MELT :D You are crazy :S What if sth happends ?

  • the problem isnt enough fuel its not the proper diffusion of the fuel if you use the right diffuser it would run so much more stable its something we do in diesel mechanics u can use washer fluid as nos in a diesel with the right diffuser so try it and tll me what you think

  • Some people need to pass an IQ test before posting on Youtube, it could look like it's running too hot because he's using thin gauge pipe, or maybe they are testing it for the first time, or maybe they thought of putting a oil/water cooler on after. Was anyone hurt? Did they learn something? Did they have fun? Then I call this a win! Cause no one got hurt, they probably learned something and sure did have fun!

  • You people do realize the jet engine was invented and perfected awhile ago?

  • @jamesjr934 so whats wrong with making one yourself to see how they work. I want to make one i think it would be cool to have a jet engine that i made from parts

  • quick throw some steaks on there.

  • what do you use to feed the turbo with oil???

  • FUCK YEA! can i be your neighbour :D

  • how many cops were called to the noise complaints? lol... Nice job

  • oh damn nice this is even hommade by normal dudes

  • how many beers did that take to build? lol

  • "U can't touch this!"

  • damn!

  • It runs very well, congrats nice afterburner also :p

  • way too hot hot hot hot

  • PEE ON IT WHEN HOT

  • @lasergeak o.0 your an arse

  • @DeadNetworks ;-D

  • Break out the marshmallows and hotdogs!

  • that shit is sooooooooo cold

  • thats a huge TC

  • Holly shit , you almost got your exhaust pipe near melting point.

  • its running a bit on the warm side

  • This is fuckin AWESOMEEE!!! When the lights are off...!!! it is just outrageously cool!!

    congrat!!!

Did you make this for fun or for some class???

  • whats smokin in the bucket?

  • i believe hot oil

  • if it's noisy, red hot and is in a garage, it has to be something really cool. It is!

    good job

  • Awsome! good job guys

  • i would love to stick my brothers face into that turbo

  • lol

  • to all you complaning its fine. let the beutiful creation of alchol, man, and some spar time and parts run in all its glory lol. nice engine

  • yea if that metal fails youll have molten steel flying at you.....

But hey im not going to complain its fun to watch

  • I hope you do understand that a turbocharger is not made to withstand that kind of heat and could possibly blow apart. I've made my own turbojet engines, but I always quit when things are getting red hot. An accepted exhaust temp for a turbocharger is 600degrees centigrade(Celsius).

  • not quite. while i don't think hooking it up to a plane and going for a 20 hour flight would be recommended, i've seen plenty turbos on cars that were running red or even white hot and were still fine afterward.

  • hmmyes, turbo's running white hot only have a very limited lifetime and do blow apart a lot. It depends on the turbo you used. I can see that it is not a high performance turbocharger, but rather one from a diesel truck or so, which is not meant to become that hot. I was just pointing out the possible danger involved in this movie.

  • Think you could possibly publish some schematics of this? ive been wanting to build one for a while to demonstrate to a mechanic that its not as complex as it sounds
