Far Cry has worse graphics, and a worse map editor, with the Crysis editor you could make single player missions, change water colour/texture change basically anything you wish. You probably say that Far Cry 2 has better graphics because in this video I am running Crysis at MEDIUM detail, not HIGH, and not VERY HIGH!

@SpazmaticAttack yeah you do, because Far Cry 2 is a editor for noobs, All you have to do is click create terrain and hold RT just to make land. ANYONE can make a map on Far Cry 2, it is so easy. I have also made maps on Far Cry 2. Crysis Sandbox2 is a very advanced editor, you have to go through so much to create so little. I would like to see you create a map this good or better on this editor. Do your research before you be so rude, because you clearly don't know how hard this editor is.

@mattyovers1 hahaha! iv'e made thousands of maps on crysis! and they turned out much better than this bullcrap. friends of mine got this game, and they say its much more fun to make maps on far cry cuz you dont have to spend a hundred years making a fucking house, but i love how crysis is so advanced, for those who like that, including myself. far cry is for those who wanna sit down and chill with something easy and soothing. crysis is for the more serious map editors.. who's rich as well..

That is because the Far Cry 2 editor is so damn basic, for real hardcore noobs to make good maps.

The Cryengine editor is amazingly advanced, much better than the Far Cry 2 editor.

My map is completely finished, no bugs, nothing... It has a dramatic difference compared to this video. When you see it and probably play it, you would probably give it a 5/5 if some of the viewers gave this piece of crap a 3/5.

This is a very damn old version of my map, download my map and view it in the Crysis editor.

Yes you are right it is a poor map, but this was just a small thing I created when I first used the sandbox2 editor, if you download my map and see it, you will notice a massive difference.

Also, one last thing, the editor is not something you can just pick up and use and make a OUTSTANDING map, I would like to see a map that you have made.

Sorry, but the Crytek engine is a game design tools... You can make a hole new game out of it, it is more than a map editor, it is a more of a game design tool. If you was to use the Crytek engine and compare it with the Far Cry 2 map editor you would give the editor for Far Cry -100/10

dude so what if crysis looks amazing on high, im using a radeon 1900x or x1900 or something like that not sure, but crysis can get 50 fps on it and i go to high and suddenly it drops down to 1-6 fps and one more thing, some people don't have the money to buy $2000 a computer so don't criticize good map dude 5/5 :)

am i the only one who finds that the nuke explosions in crysis dont look particularly good? who said a nuke explosion looks red? ive seen pictures of real nuke explosions (in color) and they didnt look anything like those "woohoo all the f'in screen is red, doesnt that look like a nuke to you?!*" - effects in crysis.

What are you talking about, it is not red, it is a yellow, orange type of color. Are you sure your computer monitor does not have the RED set to high.

no, i havent, well to me it looks red in all screens and videos, i havent seen it ingame or does it occur in the campaign? theres an old video of a nuke in crysis, before the game came out, just a tech demonstration, its on a dirt-street, the player has a pistol in his hand and, caused by the explosion, a house next to him gets blown into pieces from the pressure. that explosion really looks yellow, so i was disappointed when i first saw all the nuke videos on youtube
