Thank you for the comment. My Mini is from 1984. I rebuilt all the engine to add a turbocharger above the clutch housing. The laptop is connected to an an ignition ECU witch is taking the top dead center by a trigger wheel fitted on the crank pulley. I've made it all myself (trigger wheel 36 teeth - 1 from renault, ECU "Megajolt", coil pack and control unit from Ford, home made manifold, exhaust line, electrical circuit, plenum chamber, air/water circuit, tunning....).

What year is this mini?
And how did you plug the laptop in?
Is it a later mini with an OBD port or have you found a way to connect the 3 pin Rover connector to a laptop
